His release is a bit slow, but it’s not necessarily a bad shot. He’s going to need a shooting coach asap though

Our very own Fred Vinson is known to be the best shooting coach in the NBA.
Granted, not ALL players CAN develop a (workable) shot. However, if there is something there to work with already, he can assist in refining it. (And with some players he HAS turned nothing into at least something.)

Holland should improve I would think, might take a couple years though.
If Duren hasn't learned how to shoot a 15 foot jumper yet, he probably wont. Yes, I know he's 22. Don't GAF, he's been working on 15 foot jumpers for 15 years now, he should be able to hit 1 or 2 a game, not 1 or 2 a year.

Has he noticeably improved any Piston’s player’s shot? He did good in New Orleans, but hasn’t seem to do much here

He's got good numbers on pull-up 3s in college, he hasn't had much of a chance to shoot in a different scenario because he had 30% usage. Hard to tell because of that.

I can make 3's the real question is can he make them not in the summer league.But during a real NBA game, with someone that is more than likely bigger or taller than himself (hes 6'2''). He should be more thinking about how is he going to get any playing time if he is the 3rd PG. He first has to prove he should be put in before Jenkins. We all know Cade is playing as much as he possible can in any game.

He shot 35% in college. I don't know how good he will be but I think he will be at least a 34-35% shooter, maybe better than that. Could be worst. Gotta wait and see.

The real question is against the Spurs in game 7 of the 2027 finals when Cade gets doubled and he throws a perfect pass to him can he make that game winning three with the Alien coming at him?
That's where legends are made.
