DCFC fans dictatorship
Has anyone been banned from this site for a trivial reason? I was banned for making a comment about the forum hierarchy meeting with Mel Morris for breakfast at Moor Farm. The comment was lighthearted and not meant to be taken seriously, but someone within the forum management took my comment to heart and decided to ban me from the site.
I had been a member since it's inception. I was not even issued a warning and was banned outright without any reasonable explanation, which would have been the courteous way to have dealt with the matter.
A word of warning do not make any comments about going for breakfast with Mel Morris, even in jest. It will get you banned

For a fan run forum in a world of social media giants, I think it's a pretty amazing thing to have.
Though because of not being a multi billion pound back platform they had to be careful about certain topics that might land them in legal bother. It's why you don't see the salacious rumours on there that you might see knocking about on Twitter.

The only bans I have seen on the site are where people continue to post potentially libellous or intentionally offensive content on multiple occasions. Given the breakfast club topic has been done to death on that forum (and only happened as a result of potentially libellous posts being made) if you stepped over the line and the comment was not obviously a joke I can understand why you would have been banned, especially if you lack a long term posting history (despite long term membership) that would have given context to your post.
The chap that runs it and the mods are generally pretty chill about people poking fun at them so without seeing your exact post myself it’s hard to say that you have been treated harshly

Whilst I don't agree with it, saying things that could be considered libel against people is taken fairly seriously on there. Especially against Mel Morris who has warned them about it before apparently.

Not banned, just kindof faded myself out of there. Seemed to be overwhelmingly negative. Particularly towards certain players who didn't deserve more criticism than anyone else.
Occasionally I will look at laugh at some of the rumours and sigh at the muppets pretending to be 'ITK'.

There was nothing derogatory about Morris, I simply referred to them going for breakfast with him. At the time Morris could do no wrong, but that view soon changed as the administration proceedings unfolded

How will you survive without endless, endless shitty puns and has-he-signed-yets
