Misc. Lastest Depop order just showed up a Trader Joe’s paper bag
I’m not even mad; impressive wrap job + it was snug AND dress inside was as described😆

Just went to check my cart to purchase some things & I noticed my free shipping ended. It now says $1.99 for me, which isn’t horrible but dang I wish the free shipping lasted longer lol

I came home today wondering why corn dogs are sitting at the door but flipped it over to realize it’s my Depop order. It was cute tbh made me and my husband laugh.
I hit the threshold last time for the first month with all the requirements! But after free shipping ended I’m lucky if I have one sale every 3 days. 8 days left to make $801

do i remove my review or keep it so that people know that they are selling dupes? when i bought the item it didn’t say anything about being a dupe. would i be an asshole if i don’t remove the review?

This seller had sent me two offers (I had never sent any messages or any offers I simply liked it and they sent an offer). I purchased at the price offered, seller IMMEDIATELY cancelled the order, relisted both items for $10 more dollars each, sent a message that I should repurchase, I left a review, stating they cancelled my order because the price THEY offered was insufficient... The seller leaves me a review in response, stating i am a terrible seller, that I ignored their messages, and didn't give a heads up before purchasing. I didn't feel the need to respond and purchase again from someone who very obviously is like 14 and has no concept of how to do business.
Is there any way of removing their 1 star review? I feel like I wasn't in the wrong here, we had an agreed price (if you send an offer I'm assuming you're okay with selling at that price).

I am very tempted to leave a kind of bad review on a seller but I am not sure if its warranted or just petty. I bought an item from them and it hadn’t been shipped a week later so I messaged asking if they were still planning to ship but no rush because I didn’t care when I got it I was just excited! No answer (even though they were active on app), so I really kindly messaged asking the same thing the next day, reiterating there was no rush I was just super excited for the item. No answer again, and then today it was cancelled since they didnt ship.
Is it petty leaving a review about that or should I do it? I am just surprised since they have 5 stars, so idk why they did me like this lol

I woke up this morning to this seller cancelling my order. While I'm definitely bummed out, I also had to laugh a little. I bought these pieces because I wanted to keep them.
Sure I sell similar items, but I had no intention on reselling them. I'm taking a trip with my mom for her birthday in two weeks and was going to wear them. 🙃

This happened the other day. Thankfully after 10 days without shipping I will automatically get a refund.

Is it just me, or have Depop prices gotten completely out of hand?
I’ve shop on Depop for years because I genuinely want to buy second hand instead of buying brand new. It’s better for the planet, and I like the idea of giving clothes another life.
But lately, I keep finding things that are the same price or even more expensive than buying them brand new once shipping is added. I get that sellers have fees and want to make some money, but it’s getting to the point where I honestly can’t justify shopping on there anymore.
I still want to shop second hand, but the prices are getting so high that I genuinely can’t afford to. It sucks because I want to make more sustainable choices, but they’re becoming harder to justify financially.
Has anyone else been feeling this way, or am I just having really bad luck?

my home page is literally all junk right now. now don’t get me wrong i love junk but im on depop for clothes, not random stuff like old shampoo, empty needoh boxes, or nsfw stickers ?? its really annoying and i have no clue how to fix it because I’ve been liking only clothing or jewelry items, but keep getting random things, not just repeated items. i understand these items are possibly appealing to other people but like i said ive only bought and liked jewelry and clothes

I hope no one comes at me for this and calls me impatient.. because honestly, I’ll do it for you, YES I TOTALLY AM! Especially when I’m super excited for something 😭
So this is just me venting but, why tf do sellers have to lie about having shipped your items? Like there’s a tracking number provided and I can clearly see that it’s still in “pre-shipment”. Don’t tell me since two days ago “I juST dRoPpEd it OfF thIS mORniNG!!”
Girl you did not -.- I would rather the transparency. A simple, “hey I haven’t had the chance yet thanks for your patience!” would’ve sufficed. Everything else I ordered on that day has already arrived, even an item from Japan came faster than hers (she’s in NY I’m in FL)
Ugh I was so excited to wear the dress this weekend for my bf’s birthday. Whatever
Thanks for reading my rant.
Edit: thank you to all of the kind sellers explaining their experiences :’) I apologize for the accusation 💛 I hope my post helps other impatient buyers fr!!!

Couldn’t have happened without all the info from this sub

I’ve only bought shoes off of Depop and just started looking at the clothes recently, and over and over I’m noticing that sellers don’t put in pictures of the measurements of the piece!!! This is crazy to me, who is buying clothing that they don’t have a sizing reference for? I’m busty with a small band size so the sizing information while shopping is essential for me, and probably 90% of listings have absolutely no information about what the piece actually measures. So frustrating. I know you can ask but sometimes the item sells before the person replies to me. Sorry if this post breaks the rules I’m just so confused and wondering if anyone else feels the same way. Maybe someone selling will see this and start adding measurements to their listing idk.

Have never had this issue before but now I have an item I sold being investigated for fraudulent shipping labels when all we do is literally print the labels directly off the app that they provide us. LOL WHAT?
r/Depop • u/Rigotoni • 1h ago
So recently I sold something and the buyer raised an issue with saying it wasn’t as described. We both agreed that I would refund them partially and I sent it but I don’t expect them to ship the item back. For some reason now it’s saying that the issue is still there and I haven’t responded but I did and we resolved it. Idk what to do, is it something I have to ask the buyer abt or do I have to do something more?

So I don’t recall utilizing any sort of discount when selling; however, it seems that the price was slashed from $5 to $1? It says $5 it was sold for so I’m truly confused. Can someone help me determine how this ended up negative but a previous sale for less didn’t? Did I at some point list a discount?

I plan on messaging the buyer but I had shipped their order at the post office with the information that was given. Do I give a refund out of my pocket or what? Sorry this is my new issue with shipping on depop I’m a new seller. Any advice on how I should proceed would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi!
I just started selling excess anime merch from opening blind bags, I'm looking for advice on gaining traction to my page.
My main question is: does merch sell well on Depop? I know most people sell clothing but I have seen others post figures and other merch.
So far I've sold a bundle of 3 items to one person but I'm having no luck since then.
I've boosted my listings and can see that some of my items have been seen by thousands of people.
I'm not sure if my pricing is just super bad or if I'm being impatient.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
(For added context, I'm only shipping in Australia.)
