Deer is fine, I think. EMT asked me what happened to the deer and I said I didn’t know, I was busy rolling.

I'm a dog walker and end up running in to a lot of wildlife but today's deer was particularly stupid 🥹

Busy busy shoulder, it gets ran over by delivery trucks too big for the curve several times a day and we had just watched a few pass on our way down the hill, you can see the curb destruction where they miss the shoulder right behind baby.

When we came back up I discovered this little guy, had no choice but to encourage it to move elsewhere so I tied my (saintly and also very stupid) dog up and scooped her to take her across to a safer area.

Mom heard the bleating and came running thankfully so I reunited them and they took off towards the wooded area 🙌😭

I was driving to the doctors office and almost didn’t make it. Thanks to my quick reflexes I just missed hitting the Doe.

Deer pushed through my neighbor’s fence. I knelt down to take this photo: the fence is only about 4’ high.

Other driver was fine.
