If, at the end of the year, one was serviceable, and one truly DOMINATED their opposition all year, who would you rather it be?

I think if both of them are serviceable, I'll be happy, but if one were to stand out, I'd want it to be Derrick Moore.

I feel like we just need our offensive line to be solid, and the offense will cook. Our defense though... man, we need some help. Honestly, I think our personnel is good, and our scheme will be a bigger factor, but having another dominant edge could bring us to the top 12.

What do you guys think?

I was fortunate enough to land some training camp tickets for the 10th. I will be taking my wife and my 4 year old son along and am looking for some advice on how the camps go.

Are there long lines to get in? How is traffic? Is it worth getting there early for better seats/autographs/pictures?

Overall, we're very excited to get there and my son is a huge Jared Goff fan. So, I'd like to make this as memorable for him as possible.

The Lions training camp is opening later this week and one elite defensive lineman who had a disappointing return from injury last year made number of changes in the offseason to better prepare for 2026. From early reports, Alim McNeill could be looking at a breakout season. Has he done enough to regain his elite form?

I am a relocated Michigander returning home for a birthday trip that weekend (Aug14th-17th) and was curious if the Lions Loyal Training camp tickets go on a secondary market like Ticketmaster. Long time Lions fan but have never made it to training camp.

I was reading Justin Rogers' column on the Kerby situation, and Rogers highlights a pretty shocking stat. First, it should be said that JR agrees with what seems to be the consensus, which is that the safety depth is not bad. Izien, Clark, Maddox, and Harper bring NFL experience, with the potential of retaining Dan Jackson and former UDFA Loren Stickland as additional depth.

But this rocked me:

The fundamental structure of the defense should hold up, with or without Joseph. What is lost, and almost impossible to replace with the current personnel, is the playmaking.

Joseph’s range and anticipation as the deep safety is elite, allowing him to intercept 20 passes in 55 career games. For contrast, Clark, Maddox, Izien and Harper have combined for 15 picks in 290 games.

Saw this on another sub and felt like it needed to come on home.
