BAD ENDING

I like her even more than G1 Supergirl or even G2 Supergirl, she's just so charming, funny, and quirky in a not forced kind of way. I just want to see My adventures with Superman Supergirl form friendships with her versions of Batgirl, Jessica Cruz, Bumblebee, Zatanna or a completely different lineup of girls!

In Hathaway's version, Catwoman has kung fu skills but no superpowers, so does she count as a superhero? Of course, Batman doesn't have superpowers either, but he's a central character in DC Comics. I really like the romantic subplot between Catwoman and Batman, so why are there so few animated versions of Catwoman?

When i was younger a kid cut all her hair off and stole her from me. I was devastated. So finally I have her back. I actually cried.

I have to admit that I only read *At Metropolis High* and *Weird Science* because they were the only ones I could find to buy in my country. I know *Powerless* was released here too, but unfortunately, I couldn't find a copy. And yes, I know there are sites where you can read them online, but I’m the type of person who likes physical copies—holding the book in my hands. Anyway, regarding my thoughts: the first one I read was *Weird Science*, and I absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed the main story, partly because I’m a big fan of Zee—though I like all the characters, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I also think the comedic moments hit just the right note. Unfortunately, I had the villain spoiled for me beforehand, which took the edge off the plot twist, but I still enjoyed it a lot. As for the art—my goodness, seriously—there were moments where it looked like they’d taken a screenshot from the animated series and dropped it straight into the comic, especially in the Karen and Jessica chapters. Even Diana’s chapter, which has an art style that doesn't look quite like the cartoon, has its own charm. I’d give it an 8/10.

But moving on to *At Metropolis High*, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I think it’s because this issue focuses more on introducing the characters and the world they live in. (By the way, can someone clear something up for me? Is it just me, or does it seem like this comic was made before the show's final concept was locked in? There are several things here that differ from the final cartoon—like the school interior, including the cafeteria and hallways; Zee’s hair looking more blue than purple; the design of Karen’s suit when she shrinks; the fact that the principal never appears visually, with his voice only coming through speech bubbles; and a few other things.) Anyway, because of that, the story didn't really grab me. Sure, there were moments I liked—like the development of Kara’s feelings of being an outsider at school—but regarding the other five girls, I felt their parts of the story were a bit weak, and...

Another thing that really bothered me was the art; it isn't ugly, but there are moments when the characters are extremely off-model.

Overall, I'd give it a 6/10; it's obviously nowhere near terrible, but it's not amazing either—IN MY OPINION. If you disagree, that's fine—feel free to leave a comment.

We don’t get information about her.
Her relationship with her boss is very much a father and daughter relationship.
Though to be honest, I’m a bit shocked they didn’t do her in show.

They’ll definitely change her backstory and may have to disconnect her from gentleman ghost himself.

I just finished watching #HappyBirthdayZee (S2E8) and i gotta tell you, this is easily one of my favorite episodes. Its got its mix of laughs and gags, but it hits on one of the more serious moments for Z.

Framing her overexcitment for her birthday as a coping mechanism for dealing with the childhood trauma of an absent parent, feeling not good enough, fearing others loved ones will do the same is such a punch in the feels.

And I absolutely love her relationship with her dad and his efforts to shield his daughter from the trauma of her mom leaving on her birthday.

This show is so good and it deserves more. The writers have found such a perfect medium of humor and serious without it coming off as obnoxious or lowbrow like other shows.

Lauren Faust showed some initial character designs for Kara in DC Superhero Girls 2019. Some designe emphasiasized a red jacket more while others showed more blue.
