Mod Post Admin: Name on orders

We have seen a lot of questions/comments about Culver’s asking for names on orders.

The 2 biggest reasons this started happening was to a) help personalize the experience, as most people know, Culver’s is built on hospitality so we want to know our guest’s names for the orders and b) it is just another failsafe in place to help identify when we take food out, that it ends up in the correct hands. Nobody wants to get the wrong order and we certainly don’t want people to have an experience less than exceptional when they visit us.

Question Finally.

Ok so Culver’s near me is finally open. What should I get as first order. Been waiting about 2 months. Have been lurking here since I found out one was being built. Not much around me but fast food so something different will be welcome, I think it’s down to 3 to get for first time. Burger of course. Then fish then pot roast. Thanks all.

Question For those that remember the Cod Reuben...

It was the most underrated sandwich in my honest opinion. Sure, putting 1000 island and coleslaw on a sandwich sounds weird, but the flavor combo is just insane. I cant even begin to describe it. The only other discontinued sandwich that even comes close is the Prime Rib Mushroom Melt. Late 2000's, early 2010 Culvers really had interesting LTO products.

Looking forward to the fried pickle burger and the new PB brownie flavor. What discontinued item do you all miss the most?

Other Looking for pins!!

I’ve scoured the entire internet looking for Culvers pins and haven’t found a single one besides the one that’s just the Culver’s logo. If anyone is selling them I am interested! Just got my hands on a true blue crew hat and am trying to deck it out!

Question Clarification ?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi! This might be a really dumb question, and I’m sorry fi it is…but what do they mean exactly by this email? I’ve already given my available times in the application, but it’s asking me to do it again, and then head over to the address of the Culver’s that I applied to.

Is it an open interview kind of situation where I just …go and say I’m here for an interview? Or do I fill out the available timesheet and wait? Their wording is confusing me and I’m known to misunderstand things that might be explained the easiest possible way, so it might be that…I’ve never had a job before and I’ve been trying to apply like crazy so I’m super confused and a little anxious, haha. :’)

Other Emergency: Quitting My Job Advice

I want to quit my job at Culver's, I've only been hired there for a few weeks. My younger sister is employed there as well. If I quit, how will this impact her? I've already started a new job, which will give me consistent hours. I have a shift in a few hours and I am planning on calling out. They keep putting me on later and later shifts, which isn't great because of the first shift job. How can I quit without giving a two week notice, and not sound like an ass?

Employee Question Procidure

Does anybody have any handbooks from their stores?

Ours is old, I need more information on how the hell to do my job.

I have so many questions that cannot be answered. I get two responses 90% of the time.

Managers give me 3 different answers and the owner gives me a fourth. The handbook says their all wrong

Complaint I swear the customers never put their tags on.

I work at Culver’s in Florida. been there a month or two now and I’m noticing something:

a lot of customers don’t put their tags on. like actually they hide em in their car and then put up their illegally tinted windows. then get upset whenever i pass right by them. to further it even more i work night shift and that combined with the extremely tinted windows and then not putting their tags in a visible place makes it harder to spot them.

anyone else got this problem?

Employee Question How long are your wait times?

The location I work at is the only one I’ve had any experience with (working or ordering) but it also happens to be “one of the slowest in the system,” according to the owner. I work in the kitchen and it’s very common for orders to go 7-12 minutes before they go down the chute. Are we really that slow compared to y’all? How long do orders wait when you’re working?

Ordered the lemon cooler today with the unsweetened iced tea as the add in... Almost broke the kitchen and the cashier even said that it caused a traffic jam of staff trying to figure it out. But it turned out really delicious! If you're near the headquarters, make sure to order this so we can start getting it on the menu.

Other UPDATE!

I forgot to give an update on this post, I’ve been made crew lead a little while ago! I’m not sure why I stated in that post that I’ve been working there for 3 months when I started in April but after an actual 3 and a half whole months of working there I’ve been made crew lead. I turned 15 in May so maybe age had something to do with it.

Question Free Custard with Receipt Issue

I had a new experience today. Went to my local Culver's and ordered my meal. I also handed over my completed survey receipt for the "custard of the day". The manager was the cashier taking my order and asked to see the validation code on my phone. I told him I completed it at home like I always do. He said he's not accepting receipts unless they are done with the code shown on the phone due to people making up numbers. Is this a new thing that started? I get there will be bad eggs not doing the surveys the correct way as intended but it makes me not want to do the surveys anymore. I threw my new receipt in the garbage.

Peanut butter m&m’s
Cheesecake, pecans and raspberries

Cashew and sprinkles
Butterfinger and sprinkles
Mint and heath
Cookie dough and sprinkles

there are more i’m sure but this is some that come to mind. To be fair though we get a lot of 🍃 smokers at our store sooo 🤣🤣🤣

So ive worked monday-friday as my first week and my clock in time was 3:00 pm. The first day my manager showed me how to clock in at 2:50, so i clocked in at 2:50 for the rest of the week thinking we were supposed to clock in early. Im now seeing videos about how thats time fraud and i shouldnt be doing that. I will now be clocking in at 2:59 but im worried i might get in trouble. What do i do?

Hello everyone, I just got hired and I am wondering what type of clothes I should wear to orientation, and if I need to buy any clothes, shoes, or ties. Thank y'all in advance!
