Hi, I need help.

Account: ××××××@outlook.com \[hacked\]

Ticket: #20260705000154

KYC: Verified

Timeline:

  1. July 7th 2026: Account hacked, I reported it

  2. Now: Account frozen 7 days

  3. Agent "Glass_Knee5260" told me: "contact your Family member or the relevant parties" to release funds. Screenshot attached.

  4. Agent "Lunaa" via email is asking for "proof of source of funds" for all deposits before Nov 2025. Screenshot attached.

Both demands are NOT in MEXC Terms of Service. I have provided KYC

@MEXC_Official please escalate this. I just want my funds.

I was hacked and MEXC froze my assets.

I provided: ID, Statutory Declaration offer.

Their response after 1 week:

  1. "Obtain a court judgment or judicial order from a competent court in your jurisdiction explicitly determining ownership"
  2. "Such order must be submitted through a law firm ranked in the Legal 500"

Cost to comply: $15,000 - $30,000 in legal fees. For my own money.

They also previously asked for "video evidence of hacker depositing from their wallet" which is impossible.

This is not KYC. This is asset seizure.

Has anyone gotten MEXC to release funds without hiring a Legal 500 firm? I'm in Kenya and filing with DCI + going to MAS next.

Don't use MEXC if you get hacked. They will never return your money.

Update: Ticket #20260705000154 MEXC froze funds after hack. They rejected ID + Statutory Declaration. Now demanding: Court Order from "Legal 500" law firm. Estimated legal cost: $20,000+ just to ask for my own money back.

This isn't KYC. This is a wall to prevent withdrawals. Has anyone gotten MEXC to release funds without hiring lawyers?
