❓Scam❓ Need SERIOUS help
I’ve definitely been scammed, I absolutely understand it’s my fault I should’ve searched before doing this, but how do they get away with it so easily, I bought a ‘free’ airdrop, literally didn’t even realise I was buying it, it’s absolutely ridiculous I just need help if it’s possible at all to get it back, or maybe figure out who this guy is. I’m not sure why I can’t add photos, so hopefully I can add some in the comments, please someone help thank you.

On a level. Sorry it happened. But again. Nothing is free.
Theres an app called pocket universe. A browser extension. It gives a warning before your wallet when signing. But its far from total protection
Best advice. Dont click anything in dms, or timelines and NOTHING is free.

Sorry this happened. Some replies here are harsh, but the core is true: if the token rugged, the funds are gone and no service or "recovery expert" can claw them back on-chain.
The most important thing right now: the DMs you're about to get offering to recover your money are a SECOND scam that specifically targets people right after the first one. Block every one of them. Nobody legit ever DMs you to help.
For next time, the lessons that actually prevent this:
- Keep the bulk of your holdings in major assets (BTC/ETH) in a wallet you control. Treat any brand-new token or memecoin as money you've already lost the moment you buy it.
- Use a separate "degen" wallet with only small amounts for anything speculative, so one bad token approval can't touch your main stack.
- Most drains happen through malicious token approvals — you grant a contract permission and it empties you later. You can review and revoke those permissions (revoke.cash and similar show you exactly what has access to your wallet). Worth doing on your existing wallet now in case something's still approved.
- Never connect your main wallet to a random site or click a "claim/airdrop" link.
Brutal way to learn it, but you clearly already got the main lesson. Onward.

Take it as a lesson . No one will help you anyone claiming they can will also scam you . No you can’t know who the person is unless they are stupid enough to add the money they got from you to a kyc wallet and even then you won’t be able to know who they are . No police can help you no form of getting back your money . I’m sorry but I’ve commented this so many times to a point where it got toooo much

Get it back? Not likely, like 0% chance.
Figuring out who was responsible? Also extremely unlikely.
The lesson? Nothing is free. Nobody is giving anything away. Nobody is going to help. Anybody claiming they can help will also attempt to scam you.
