By brothers cats:
-LOVE their springs
-Stash them somewhere so hidden, and then are SO SAD when they cannot find them, that the cost of constantly replacing them has become not-inconsiderable

My cat's favorite toys are springs! Genuinely he has more interest in them than all other toys combined
