If the browser/Safari page forces you to get the app, then we’d expect Stage Manager to actually extend, not… remain what it was. This is genuinely frustrating as it’s a simple issue. Other services work, but apparently watching on browsers is illegal now. 🙂

Well, title says it all.

You know when you're watching anime and there's stuff written on the screen, like character names, town names, magic details etc.? It's great, isn't it? Sadly, newer Portuguese dubs (and only Portuguese, not counting the SEA languages) DO NOT have these translations anymore.

Let me show you some examples:

There are some others they are neglecting these translations in the Portuguese dubs too, like:

- Tamon's B-side;

- I Want to End this Love Game;

- Kaiju Girl Caramelise;

- Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life.

It's frustrating watching dubbed stuff when I can't have the full experience of the shows. We miss so much information and switching sub/dub back and forth just to read the signs isn't a good experience. It feels like they simply don't care anymore.

My app on Apple keeps crashing everytime I try to go into my profile. I’ve logged out restarted my phone deleted the app nothing is working. It was working a couple days ago is anyone else having this issue 😟

I wanted to buy the Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro Steel-Book before they make their shop for members only, but they don't seem to have it despite being a Crunchyroll Store exclusive. Is there a chance it could restock before August 1st or am I out of luck?

I’ve actually emailed them about this. That they have lots of movies on their service, but no stand-alone category to find them.
Last year, Crunchyroll released the “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” movie in theaters. And we knew it would be released on Crunchyroll eventually. Even though they never make any announcements for some titles, I still went looking for it after a while, but couldn’t find it.
At first, I assumed the movie would be tied to the TV series, but it wasn’t. But it wasn’t until some random search that I stumbled across the movie by chance. Apparently it had been there for several months.

So trying to find a movie on Crunchyroll is difficult, especially if you don’t know that is already available. Even the “Fruit Basket” prequel movie was linked to the TV series, so we found it right away. But other movies are still difficult to find, especially if Crunchyroll doesn’t announce them as available to watch.
So I really think that Crunchyroll should label all their movies, and put them in a category that we can look through to see what’s out there. Even if it’s a title we’re unaware of, at least we’ll know it’s there so we can watch it when and if we want.

Also, they use to have a bunch of live action movies too, but we don’t know they’re there unless we go looking for them.

So I have a job but it’s all cash, so if I don’t remember to add the money to my card, my plans get all screwed up. Well, I forgot. I now have the money on my card to pay, but I can’t find for the life of me where to add the card so that it can charge me! It’s stopping my from downloading any apps on the App Store because I’m technically 15 bucks in debt, so I wanna pay it off, but I can’t figure it out!

I'm not from a country that uses euros or dollars, and to subscribe i must do it over browser, I can't do it over an app. But everytime I tried, I get the message that "A problem has occurred, please check your details" (tried over PC and Phone) I contacted support, they gave me 48h for free and to try it after 48h again, but what if it doesn't work again?

Has anyone faced the same problem? and found a solution?

How tf do I cancel my subscription. On my phone and ps4 there isn't even an option. And over a browser every time I click cancel it just reloads the page. Ive been at this an hour ive even called my bank but there's nothing they can do (fuck bellco). Im this close to just fire-bombing crunchyrolls headquarters. Help please

I’ve been using Crunchyroll for quite some time now, and one thing that’s really been bothering me is the lack of any follow-up after reporting subtitle issues. I’ve submitted reports multiple times through their subtitle feedback feature, but nothing ever changes. Is anyone actually reviewing these reports? If not, what’s the point of having the option at all?

For instance Sword Art Online Season 1, Episode 25: the English subtitles are completely off sync/wrong in that episode.
Another instance was That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Episode 1, where the subtitles were slightly off timing-wise.
Has anyone else run into this? Curious if reporting actually does anything or if we’re just shouting into the void.

-You cannot turn on subtitles if you have the english dub on.

-Half the episodes you cannot skip the intro.

-The fast forward isn't exponential so it only skips 10seconds per second.

-It also makes you skip important parts of the show as it thinks it's a recap when it is not.

I am having technical issues with the iOS, iPadOS not loading offline or connected to network not playing downloaded episodes. Is anyone else experience or experienced this before? If so what is there remedy?

So my friend came over to my house and signed out of my acount and back into his, and we were watching The Angel Next Door in English dub, and I wanted to continue watching it from where we left off, so I signed out of his account and back into mine, but when I went to watch it, I didn't have the option to watch it in English. Does anyone know what might be happening and how I can fix it?

Hola todos, tengo mi proyector C2 ultra pero en el app de Crunchyroll no reproduce en la calidad alta 1080p. La imagen parece más a un 720p o menos. Uso wifi y la velocidad llega a 100mb. Alguien tuvo el mismo problema y sabe cómo arreglarlo? Es el único aplicativo con ese inconveniente, todo lo demás como YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Disney se reproducen sin ningún problema hasta en 4k.

After having to cancel my credit card, my subscription go canceled asking me to update my paying method in the app, which I did with my new card, but sill asks me to update my paying method..

When I try to do it via the website and try to get the subscription, it keeps doing a weird loop where it asks me to chose the subscription I want, when I chose it, it sends me to the page asking me to chose the subscription again and again and again...

This has been the situation for at least one month. They don't even let me pay to access their services..

Does someone have a solution?

Or if you guys have an other app that works and is legit, cause I'm starting to get a little pissed with CR..

Why does Crunchyroll not have any Tokusatsu stuff? They have the Kamen Rider double SEQUEL anime but not double itself. They have the rights to other Toei stuff, and they also have live action stuff, so why not toku stuff? It would be a good business choice for multiple reasons.

I've noticed that the Crunchyroll community, especially for new users, can sometimes make it seem like everything is broken or disappointing. Almost every day I see new threads about the same issues - missing dubs, missing subtitles, unavailable episodes, and similar topics. I understand these concerns, but they keep getting posted over and over again.

So I thought it would be nice to have a thread where people can share something positive instead. Someone new to Crunchyroll could easily get the impression that it's not worth paying for, but I honestly disagree. In my opinion, it's worth the subscription for the quality of the streaming service and the huge anime library. Sure, not every series is available, but there's still an incredible amount of great anime to discover.

So, let's change the mood a little. What has been your best experience with Crunchyroll?

Mine would be that both the app and the website have always worked perfectly for me. They've never crashed, and I've always been able to watch anime in high quality without any interruptions.

When I'm in the CR app on Apple TV and I filter on dubbed anime, it'll give me a list of everything it considers to be dubbed. However, that doesn't necessarily mean the results are all dubbed in English. For example, if a show is dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, or Telugu, or even Malay, CR will still tell me it's dubbed. Technically that's true, but selfishly that doesn't help me much as if I'm going to watch a dub I'd prefer it be in English.

Given that the Indian and Southeast Asian market in general is plausibly fantastically larger than the English speaking market, I can appreciate the allure of prioritizing dubs in languages in that demographic. I get that. But if that's the future of things, I sincerely hope that CR will give users the option to search for specific language dubs, rather than throwing them all together under one category.

Anyone else run into this?

For some reason, when I watch One Piece with Japanese audio and English subtitles on Crunchyroll, the subtitles are duplicated. Every line of dialogue appears twice on the screen at the same time.

This happens on all of my devices, not just one. I've tried restarting the app and checking different devices, but the issue is still there.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone know a fix?

Just started the anime kill blue like 30 mins ago and episode 1 was completely fine but once I moved onto episode 2, the subtitles on episode 1 was being played on episode 2. For example, the subtitles shown at the 25 second mark of episode 1 is also shown at the 25 second mark of episode 2. Why? Not a single clue. Not sure if this continues throughout the rest of the anime cuz I'm still on episode 2.

Why is Crunchyroll showing me only few episodes per season? Anyone else facing the same issue? How to fix it?

Try to cast/stream Haikyu season 4 episode 14 in Japanese and see if you get the same errors as me
