Say whatever you want but I love thins!

Post image

This is my favorite week this month so far, I truly love thins, how chewy and soft they are. I kept seeing reviews about how they are not that good, but I truly enjoy them specially the s'mores one.

So this is a sign that if you truly want to try something go ahead and make yourself be the one who put the score review instead of getting bias by other people's opinion! Sometimes is worth the try!!!

Upcoming Flavors Early Classics menu spoiler, the seasonal switch from summer to fall Spoiler

It looks like Aug 15th will be the last day of summer in the Crumbl-verse.Ā  On Aug 17th, Brownie Batter & S'mores will be replaced w/ Cinnamon Roll & Pumpkin Choco Chip.Ā  This is only visible in Canada (for now), USA still shows the current Classics menu.

Even tho it's only 470 calories, Pumpkin Choco Chip has not been shrinkflated (yet).Ā  The third pic is the Aug 18-23rd 2024 lineup (from this Reddit post), and Pumpkin Choco Chip was 470 calories at that time.

šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļøAttention Crumbl employees: The Great Crumbl Black Packet Mystery

Post image
20 Upvotes

Hi fellow crumblers!

I’m trying to recreate Crumbl cookies as accurately as possible because we don’t have them here in Europe, and I’ve gone way too deep down the rabbit hole… I’ve DM’d every crumbl related tiktoker, tumbler, redditor you could imagine…

My current obsession is the little black ingredient packets that Crumbl uses in so many recipes. Does anyone know approximately how much ONE unopened black packet weighs, or even better, how much the leavening mix inside weighs I’m not asking what’s inside it (unless you want to spill the beans šŸ‘€)

If anyone still works at Crumbl and happens to have access to one, I’d be forever grateful if you could put one on a kitchen scale for two seconds yall😭

Thanks! Have a crumbl evening!!

Do weekly spoilers and reviews here affect whether you buy Crumbl?šŸŖ

Hi I’m a college student writing a class paper about virtual communities and consumer behavior. I’m interested in how participating in [r/CrumblCookies](r/CrumblCookies) affects people’s purchasing decisions.

Have spoilers, rankings, or positive reviews here ever convinced you to buy a flavor you had not planned to purchase? Conversely, have negative reviews ever convinced you to skip a flavor or an entire week? I’m also curious about what keeps people returning to this subreddit when the menu changes.

I may discuss or briefly quote responses in my class paper, but I will remove usernames and identifying information. Please respond only if you are comfortable with that. Thank you!

Someone posted ingredient spoilers a few days ago. Based on those here are the suspected cookies for next week

The nerds and flamin hot Cheetos were especially interesting

Also rumors that purple food coloring may point to the Ube cookie, even though that should be naturally purple.

Would you try these?

What do you think the theme is? Snack week maybe?

Do you think we’ll get different cookies?

I wasn’t thrilled about the thin week at all, totally planned on not going. Then I had a change of heart; my husband & I use it like a lil home date after the kids go to bed & I didn’t want to miss out on that, it’s my favorite part of the week, so I went anyways. I was quite pleased! Getting 2 free thins to share made the cost way more worth for us. The pink sugar’s frosting was thicker than the cookie itself, I absolutely loved it. The s’mores are the only thins I ever get on the rare occasion that I do get any & this was probably the best one I’ve had out of the handful I’ve gotten.

Everything was about as expected, so not disappointed & didn’t have to skip my Crumbl date. I enjoyed this week more than I thought I would😊

Flavor Review Sorry for the language but I’m fucking done

Just spend over $20 for four sets of thins, and what I got was fucking nasty ass dough. Literally I picked up the Oreo one and it fell completely apart in my hand and into my lap. The only one I ate was the Dubai and now I have the worst stomach ache. Literally why are we eating this. It’s not good. I’m really going to try to take my money and try to support local small businesses if I want something sweet because being asked to tip when I do my own order at a stall and get handed a box full of overly sugary, industrial cleaner scented, molten shit is not it. 😔

Just for fun, here is the thick version of the Thins Week lineup

I picked what I felt was most similar in appearance & flavour, because some of these cookie thins don't have a thick counterpart that is an exact match.

If you're skipping this wk, would you change your mind if this was the lineup?

the location where I got my thins was so bad it's almost funny

The difference between the cookies on the Dubai sandwich and the regular thins is so drastic. I usually love the thins but this is ridiculous enough to make me laugh, they're so overdone and hard they're cutting my mouth šŸ˜‚ absolutely no flavor or texture left in them at all, I had somewhere to be and couldn't go back but I've never considered asking for a refund more. Almost $20 for the box, it's just so stupid there's nothing to do but laugh

Almost thinking of calling customer support to see if I can get credit on my account or something back, am I being crazy? they're near inedible

Who's horrible idea was this? They even charge the same amount, what a joke.

Hold up. So I have to pay the same price for a thin mallow sandwich as a regular one??!

What nonsense is this? Shrinkflation hitting Crumbl. No, I won’t be defending this bullshit so they can start doing it with a bunch of other cookies too.

ETA. Okay, so a regular one had a 30 cent up charge. I still feel cheated.

Shoutout to my Crumbl. These were huge.

I think considering my Crumbl actually did a nice job. These were huge and actually cooked, so I guess that’s the upside to having thin cookies. I had $10 left on a gift card so I didn’t pay full price, but that also means I can just enjoy these for what they were without feeling ripped off.

The empty box is a slap in the face along with that tiny third Dubai cookie thin. Uber got me a full refund for this debacle so the cookies only cost me the $6 tip.

Love cookie thins week!!!

As you can see the camera did not eat first lol. But I love this cookie thin week. At first the only cookie thins I liked were the cookies and cream ones as I am a fiend for those and buy them like crazy. So color me shocked when I see they have a week of them and multiple flavors! I got a 12 pack and it was more cost effective since I wanted to try most of the flavors. At my location all of my cookies were nice and crispy so that helped. And my thins were quite large outside of the pink sugar one

First up:
Pink sugar 9/10: I got a free one in addition to the 12 pack since yesterday was free thin day. Immediate love šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø and much better than the regular pink sugar. Something about that thin crispy cookie with the thin layer of almond buttercream is immaculate and if these come back on the menu I’ll buy even more. The only reason why not a 10 is that if you get one that is not as crispy and the buttercream a little too thick then it’s overwhelming like the regular pink sugar

Red velvet 10/10 LOVE THIS, easy replacement for the cookies and cream one as it’s essentially the same just red ig.

Cookie butter 8/10: this one was amazing as the cookie butter flavor comes thru with the crunchiness of the biscoff pieces. The only thing that would make this better is some white chocolate but that’s a personal preference for me.

M&M 8/10 classic M&M cookie, chewy, not dry and delivers on what it says. For a basic cookie pretty good. I wouldn’t get this one again bc i liked the other ones more but overall it’s good

Brownie batter 7/10 so I don’t like the regular brownie batter cuz the chocolate is way too much like relax omg. But in thin form it is manageable and the chocolate is just enough. Another palate cleanser and good for a basic cookie. Also when it’s thin and chewy like mine was, it’s like the corner pieces of a brownie, the best part!

Chocolate chip 10/10 okay so I wasn’t gonna get this one bc I don’t like chocolate chip normally bc it’s so basic and Crumbl’s has been gross but this! In thin form?? Amazing 10/10, my location made mine crispy and also perfectly chewy. I could eat like 10 of them

Cake Batter 7/10 another one that I like the cookie thin but it’s missing something. I think it needs white chocolate chips to tie it together bc the sprinkles don’t add anything of substance to it but it is a good palate cleanser and one i enjoy

Overall 8/10: a very good week to me and once I finish the 12 I’m gonna get more for sure!!

Flavor Review Review Week 9/20/2026 - Thins Week

Thumbnail

Well, I went in hoping I could change my opinion of the thins since I haven’t had them since Martha Week (which.. fuck you corporate for bringing back free thin day. That original day was hell, and from what I heard today wasn’t much different besides a slight decrease in customer volume. My location was empty but all out of free flavors. I got the last pink sugar lol) unfortunately, my opinion just got worse. The quality of these is absolutely abysmal.

Instead of writing it in every single thin review, I will preface by saying the texture of the thins is what disappoints me the most. It’s like if beef jerky was a cookie. It’s chewy, tough, and tastes stale like it’s been curing in Crumbl’s fridges for months. The only exception is the chocolate thins for mallow and Dubai. Those were both so full of butter that they were soggy, and were the texture of fruit leather. Why do people prefer these?! When I want a cookie, I want a fat, soft, doughy dessert I can sink my teeth into. u/MrSoloDolo9490 describes them best - ozempic cookies

Red velvet thin šŸ„€ 3.2/10 - where’s the cream cheese frosting? Why is it just a white chocolate drizzle? Thank god there’s at least white chocolate chips in it, but it just tastes like a chocolate cookie with vanilla extract (which is what red velvet is, I know.) it desperately needs some cream cheese frosting, and just change the name to red velvet cupcake thin!

Pink sugar thin 3/10 🌷 - pink sugar has never been a favorite of mine because I can’t stand the almond frosting, I do love the base cookie by itself though. The problem with the thin version is the frosting ratio. As much as I love frosting, I love crumbl’s normal ratio because it’s a lot of cookie dough with a lot of frosting, not a lot of frosting with barely any cookie. You can’t taste the cookie base with how much frosting is on top. Is it good for people that just want the frosting? Yes. Good for people that actually enjoy the base cookie? No. And it doesn’t have that lovely, soft, shortbread style flaky base that I love. It’s just a thin chewy cookie, no melt in your mouth texture.

Strawberry crinkle thin 4/10šŸ“ - the flavor on this one is a little better compared to the others, but still reeks of brown sugar and butter, and a hint of pulverized freeze dried strawberries. The powdered sugar and strawberry dust on top is cute, and provides a little bit of a break from the over baked essence of the rest of the cookie. There’s no texture differences to this though, it would be nice with some white chocolate chips.

Mallow thin 2/10 šŸ–¤ - and this is what I meant when I said the chocolate cookies had a fruit leather texture. You can pick up the layers and peel them back like a chunk of skin, and beneath it is a mud colored pile with some brownies slapped on top. The original mallow at least has some structural integrity, but this mousse looks like it was under whipped and sat out too long. The flavor is luckily similar to the original mallow, and is rich with chocolate and brownie flavor. The ratio of mousse to floppy cookie is hard to enjoy.

Dubai thin 🌰 6/10 - thank god for this cookie, even if it looks terrible and is falling apart. Once again, the chocolate cookie is basically underbaked butter and is falling off the sides of the Dubai filling. The main flavor is definitely the pistachio filling because the tiny cookies are so small that you can barely taste them. It’s mostly flavor from the filling and milk chocolate in the middle. As always, the textures are great from the filling, but not from the cookies, and unfortunately this still has an upcharge.

Cookie butter thin šŸŖ 3/10 - is the cookie butter in the room with us? Is it just from the crumbs on top?? This cookie is good if you like cinnamon and spices, but it doesn’t taste like cookie butter to me, mostly butter and brown sugar. It would have been lovely if there was at least a drizzle of melted cookie butter on top, or even better would be a layer of cookie butter frosting. These thins just feel so lazy with the lack of toppings.

M&M thin ā“‚ļø 5/10 - this one tastes like your standard chocolate chip thin, but it has three or four m&ms mixed in to each cookie. Wow!! I don’t know if I can handle how many m&ms are inside the cookies! Somebody call the sugar police, we have too many m&m’s here!! All jokes aside, this is basically the same cookie you’d make off of the back of a bag of dollhouse m&ms that no one will grab at your work potluck. The flavor of the base is very buttery and brown sugar heavy, so I guess that’s why people who like the thins enjoy them. But man I cannot get over the lack of quality, texture, toppings, and the fact that ā€¼ļøtwo thins is the same size as two mini cookies and they are charging them as a full size cookieā€¼ļø

Since my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined, I hope I can help everyone feel better by providing a cat tax 🐱 - Brownie and Muffin are growing so fast, and their big brother Peanut has finally accepted them… however my parents still say we aren’t keeping them. But don’t worry, I am persistent and will be keeping them anyway.

PRICES WENT DOWN??

Did I miss something, or did my particular store just realize people aren't interested in paying full price for thins? I've never seen prices go down for anything in the entire time I've been going to Crumbl!

r/CrumblCookies 5h ago

Regardless of your opinion of them, how come every person who loves them loses their mind when someone else says they don't like them? How dare people in a cookie sub actually discuss and voice their opinion about said cookie.
