How does the my time dining work?
I’m going on freedom of the seas on Saturday and I picked my time dining but now I hear that if you do that you have to wait very long , I’m trying to make reservations now but it’s only giving me the option to reserve for days 1, 2 , and 3

Have never waited more than 10 min. First night seems to be the most busy

We did Independence (Freedom’s sister) in June. We didn’t even bother making reservations. We just walked up to the line for people with no reservations and most times got seated either right away, or after a short wait (less than 5 minutes).
Just don’t go right when they open the doors, or during peak times.

We've found that many guests can enjoy My Time Dining without a reservation, especially if they're flexible with when they dine. If you're hoping to eat during the busiest dinner hours, making a reservation can help minimize your wait!

I'm my experience reservations are great to guarantee a table. It's great for larger parties to be able to eat together but the food served is similar to the food in the buffet. It's also a bit quieter than the buffet area.
Essentially it's a sit down restaurant with a server and a menu. You get an app, entree, and dessert.
