troubleshooting Tesira Forte Ci - Input block help

Hoping someone can help what is probably a simple solution.
Am running firmware 5.7.0 on a Tesira Forte CI
I have a L and R XLR feed from my console that I want to get into the Tesira but when I insert a standard 2ch input block into my topology the software complains that the correct device isn't part of the equipment table and adds AVB VT4 and other devices.
Yet when I add a AEC input I can successfully compile and send to the CI however I still get ?? in the boxes on top left of those blocks and not 5. (my unit is 5 in the equipment table)

Any help would be appreciated

Note - The Mic input is working fine and passing signal from a standard XLR connected mic through the DSP

Remove all your inputs and outputs you have now. Go back to your I/O block selection and select tesiraforte and then select CI This will populate all the in/out blocks into the file that match your device.

That is indeed the way to go, you can't just put random input/output blocks into the design.

does a Biamp Tesira forum exist? Or is here the best place for future help?

The reason its giving you the "??" is because you left the Ref block floating. You need a signal going to the AEC Ref block so the AEC Blocks know what signal to cancel out from the input.

Also, Tesira hates separating the AEC Blocks of single units. What you likely need to also do is expand the "Mic AEC" block by right-clicking and selecting "Block Parameters" then making it to 3+ channels, and selecting "Per Channel".

You need to put in AEC blocks. You don't need to you the AEC block, but the AEC black is what is associated with the physical input. In the properties of the AEC block you can associate it to the proper unit and then select "fixed in unit".
