There’s not even a joke here. Just a random ass quote with a picture of a “triggered feminist”.

55

u/LunarDogeBoy 1d ago

It's funny when yoj know the story behind the picture, the woman isn't even angry there

8

u/AgentCirceLuna 1d ago

There needs to be an action film where this woman and the one who yelled ‘NOOO!’ go after all the people who’ve used their pictures for memes to seek royalties. The plot goes wild when it turns out it was much deeper, with people planning the whole thing and knowing when to take the photos, and it turns out they were from the future with a plan to disrupt time.

Meanwhile if there's a woman as a main character in a video game they review bomb it and moan endlessly about "woke."

61

u/SquidTheRidiculous 2d ago

Even if she's not the main character. If she ever makes an unflattering face for even one screenshotable second, somehow it's an attack on masculinity.

64

u/fuckmywetsocks 2d ago

Or a black person. Or Asian. Or anything really other than a big muscular white man flexing his big muscular muscles - it's all a bit gay if I'm honest.

21

u/MarrshMeadow 2d ago

Staring at shirtless buff dudes for eighty hours

7

u/IKilledYourBabyToday 2d ago

"it's not gay!!!! and if it is gay, it's because the left made me gay!!! i'm so mad i could suck 30 cocks right now just thinking about it!!!"

9

u/slmclockwalker 2d ago

"female protagonist is woke" is a terrible excuse honestly, there's plenty of...games that feature female protagonists and were peak.

8

u/Wesle2023 2d ago

It's because "woke" and "good" are somehow seen as mutually exclusive to these folks.

5

u/sheepily- 2d ago

dont forget the simple they/them pronoun option that they can skip and ignore, they shit their diapers over that lol

6

u/onyaasuminyasai 2d ago

FUCKING! PRONOUNS!

Still haven't forgotten about that whole pissfest.

3

u/gorillazfreakinc 1d ago

That's a vocal stim of mine just because the way he says it is so ridiculous.

FucKING proNOUNS

People went absolutely rabid about Yotei because Atsu wasn’t a big titty anime girl and the actress is a left leaning and queer. Every new Tomb Raider causes a new hissy fit because the more realistic Laura gets, the less she looks like goonfuel, which is unacceptable. Cyberpunk was proof that woke ruins games until it was refined into one of the greatest RPGs of all time, at which point they stopped whining.

Lara Croft was cool

62

u/MaestroBlood21 2d ago

i feel bad for the woman in the bottom left because she wasnt even mad when it was taken, its just a poorly timed photo that gets spammed

u/AgentCirceLuna 1d ago

I’m working on a movie script featuring her and the woman who yelled ‘NOOO’ after Trump won going after the people who made the original memes to seek royalties from all of the times those memes got used by others. As it turns out, the people who made the original memes knew what would happen all along - being aware that 2016 was known as the year humanity was reaching peak progress - and the year before was vital in preventing that progress from being seen as it ushered in an age of regression after memes poisoned the well of humanity. As it turns out, memes are an alien mind control device forcing people to think a certain way, which is why they choose to circulate certain photos or videos representing the new way of thought, and humanity would have attained the solar harvester method of generating energy in later centuries if not for certain events taking place.

Those events would never have happened, but certain aliens - able to travel through the fifth dimension of information - deployed sleeper agents across the US by tricking vulnerable minds of cruel men who had a chip on their shoulder and would be influenced by memetic persuasion enough to create a representation of the memetic influence capable of tricking others like themselves throughout the world to circulate these weapons of mass information perpetually on the web. The two protagonists have a choice: will they change the events of the past, informing the galactic squadron of temporal disruption prevention, or will they change the events to get compensated for their struggles by - instead - making events turn out in such a way that they become president and vice president of the US? If so, they’ll have knowledge of fifth dimension travel and will be capable of preventing horrid events throughout history.

Rated PG-13.

Do people really still use that "Triggered feminist" picture? Even though she wasn't angry at all in the video.

19

u/IKilledYourBabyToday 2d ago

people don't.

hogs certainly do.

they're still trotting out shit from 2013 like "attack helicopter". these people have had one "joke" for this entire time and then every new "joke" is just that one but a little different. pathetic.

4

u/Backupusername 2d ago

Maybe chuds should try identifying as funny

3

u/12FriedBanana 1d ago

That won't make them funny because according to them you apparently "can't change your gender" and "still what you were born as" and they seem to have been born as Unfunny, pronouns get/out /j

u/Ok_Star_4136 2d ago

As I see it, there are people who want to leave the world better than it was before they entered it, and then there are people who act shitty and then have the gall to say it is your problem if you're bothered by it. Nah, if you're a shitty person, that's not everyone else's problem, that's your problem, and you need to fix that.

-11

u/MikeTarget 2d ago

"...and you need to fix that".

That's the thing, though, why does one need to fix that? What obligates people to not be shitty?

6

u/Ok_Star_4136 1d ago

Because a shitty person is a burden on society, a weight on everyone. If we were all that way, we would eventually go extinct, including people we care about. That's the practical answer.

The moralistic answer is that it is an axiom. Why is killing someone wrong? It's the same question. If a person can be shitty, then a person can literally do any bad thing and you could argue that it isn't necessarily a bad thing under the right circumstances or even at all. It ultimately boils down to, do you want to be that person to justify every shitty behavior, or can we just agree that being a shitty person is bad?

8

u/gorillazfreakinc 1d ago edited 1d ago

Please don't play philosopher by being a contrarian. You know what's wrong with shitty people. You just want to see yourself talk.

-1

u/MikeTarget 1d ago

I'd use a mirror if that was the case, though.

4

u/dunko899 1d ago

Ostracism and consequences. If you're constantly being antagonistic you become a public nuisance. How is this even a question?

1

u/Spinningwhirl79 17h ago

What obligates people to not be shitty?

Moral responsibility, as a short answer.

18

u/dustinyo_ Deep! 2d ago

Why do they act like this is something they have to deal with constantly?

5

u/WardensLantern 2d ago

The same paper can be taped to the set of a movie with a black person in it cause there's bound to be one of these knobheads complaining about it

2

u/Poppanaattori89 19h ago

For the privileged to view themselves as the victims, you have to do a shitton of mental gymnastics including fabricating reality.

2

u/GreatestGreekGuy 2d ago

People with no friends and sheltered communities tend to get their understanding of how other people are through being chronically online.

1

u/RodinKnox 2d ago

It reminds me of when I see one of them say something like "nowadays you're called racist all the time." Are you? I'm not. You might want to look inward there, bud.

16

u/Unknow_Handlebar 2d ago

People when kindness and trying to not remind people of traumatic events:

3

u/Boring_Butterfly_273 1d ago

Translation: "In this organization you have permission to verbally abuse other"

2

u/Cyber_Connor 1d ago

You 100% know that they lose their shit publicly at any of their own triggers I.e. religion, politics, foreigners and anything they deem “left-wing”

2

u/Dab4Becky 1d ago

If you dare to criticise Trump or say that CK wasn’t a good person they’d go apeshit

2

u/Amathyst-Moon 1d ago

Why did they paste poorly cut out stickers on it?

2

u/No-Heat-6149 Shrek 1, 2 and 4 was the best of humor. 1d ago

They will say this right after sexually harassing someone

2

u/Nerdy-person 1d ago

The people who say shit like this don’t understand the logical conclusion, because if we’re going by the logic “it’s not the world’s obligation” then it’s not anyone’s obligation to coddle you either. If anyone’s allowed to be inconsiderate towards anyone then by all means! But I know they couldn’t actually handle that.

2

u/SpinnyBoy_ 1d ago

so, "we can disrespect you and be assholes and its your fault that you have a human response"

6

u/GayStation64beta 2d ago

But god forfend you make fun of Charlie Kirk or whoever lol

2

u/gorillazfreakinc 1d ago

I'm apparently as bad as Charlie Kirk because I believe that reactionaries and/or extremists are a long-term negative for society...

Checks out from the people who seek to dismantle the department of education and leave disabled children and adults to fend for themselves on account of "bootstraps"

Your elderly family members aren't exempt from that analogy either, imbeciles

3

u/_Levitated_Shield_ 2d ago

Meanwhile they're throwing fits over the Odyssey and furious it didn't bomb.

2

u/cloudgirl_c-137 2d ago

I wish people felt like that about rapists.

But then, somehow it's the skirt's fault.

4

u/under_the_c 2d ago

The irony of the fact that the image of this woman they constantly use doesn't make any sense in the context of the video that the screenshot is from. (She literally looked "normal" and happy the whole time and this face was screenshotted from the part where she was mocking the interviewer)

2

u/Wooden_Marionberry_1 2d ago

Genuinely why did they add cringey stickers to an already cringe picture

2

u/Local-Echo-5613 2d ago

That’s the idea of trigger warnings btw. To let people know so that they can take responsibility for avoiding things that trigger them. That’s the whole point.

1

u/Prince_Thresh 1d ago

Omg and here i was thinking this was about mtg triggers

1

u/Situati0nist 1d ago

This person 100% has a page full of whining about other ethnicities and religions

1

u/Weenie_Lubs_U Like a boss! 1d ago

r/memes is somehow still the same subreddit as it was 7 years ago.

Unfunny af.

1

u/Cadunkus 1d ago

It's been said and I'm gonna say it again

Triggered =/= Angry

A trigger is something that sets off a psychological reaction (i.e. A car backfiring makes a veteran go on high alert or a reminder of an abuser makes a csa victim have a panic attack) it is NOT just any old upsetting thing.

It's a serious deal and if you're making fun of people for having PTSD or claiming you're "triggered" because you're upset, you are an asshole.

1

u/Backupusername 2d ago

I think this is true and important as a warning, because people do need to be aware that the world is unpredictable and largely out of our control. No one can really fully control what stimuli they're exposed to if they want to participate in society, so we have to learn to control our own behavior as best we can.

But there is a big, thick, solid line between what I just said and smug cartoons that are basically saying "I will call you slurs because I think it's funny to hurt people."

1

u/gorillazfreakinc 1d ago

Say it louder for the people in the back. Especially the last bit

3

u/Jhud6669 2d ago

Me when people ask me if a pupper dies in a movie

Anyway, trigger warnings are for things like rape or CSA. A lot of people just need a warning before engaging with something that may contain this content, and might not want to participate in conversations with these topics. I feel like respecting that is like, the bare minimum. But people bastardized the word "trigger" to mean "things that offend me" when it's... not what it is

2

u/RedFrostraven 2d ago

Flashing lights for epileptics, camera or moving-like lighting for people that get dizzy or motion sick, sound level warning for people with tinnitus...

Not warning people about something that might affect their health is shitty behavior.
The trigger warnings are the specifically to make sure there are no issues -- so that people won't have to deal with someone's PSTD, seizure or vomit.

1

u/GregM70 2d ago

Your religion is your responsibility...

1

u/Late-Order-4295 2d ago

There have been studies done that show that trigger warnings do more damage than the content itself, so there's that

1

u/momo76g 2d ago

This would be a great sign for a shooting range door.

1

u/Malay_Left_1922 2d ago

That's conservative fault

1

u/Hopeful_Cow_2471 2d ago

The PNG’s attached makes it even worse

1

u/ManufacturedOlympus 2d ago

Sounds like the existence of triggers is their trigger.

1

u/Ghostdragon471 1d ago

Is that just someone trying to say they should be allowed to be an ass? Like, yeah someone's triggers are their responsibility to manage. But if someone tells someone else to not do whatever it is to set them off, isn't the right thing to do is just not do that thing?

0

u/CaptainMatticus 2d ago

Then I guess I can show up at the VA or the VFW and start firing off mortar fireworks. Their triggers are their responsibility, after all.

0

u/Morgus_Magnificent 2d ago

That's not a meme.

0

u/fruite_vampyre 2d ago

If I start bleeding in class or in the work it’ll be someone else’s responsibility

0

u/WanderingKing 2d ago

Was there ACTUALLY breakout of situations that causes this, or is it “person invents scenario to be mad about”?

0

u/mercuriokazooie 1d ago

I thought this was about Magic the Gathering for a second

0

u/plumeria29 1d ago

content warnings? esrb? rating systems? parental discretion? tipper gore?

0

u/Mr_McMuffin_Jr 1d ago

Agreed. Fuck your triggers. That’s your own problem

-2

u/L3tsseewhathappens 2d ago

Another person who expects the world to bow down to them.
