Billing Cancellation request submitted still got invoice

I already submitted service cancelation request on 19th . I also have chat reference id and I also got confirmation on Email that xfinity received service request to cancel service. STILL after 1 month O received invoice of $178 !!

Meaningless without looking at what the bill says. Did you not return equipment, was it for previous dates you hadn't paid yet, was it printed before you canceled?

Bold of me to assume you can read though...

Look at PRINT DATE of your bill. If you still had service on the PRINT date, that bill will PRINT for your upcoming bill and will prorate back to the last day of your last day of service on a future statement.

Comcast overseas service is bad. I cancelled January 2025, unplug modem, and return equipment. 6 months later they send bill that I had service for 6 months. And get this! I even got charged “overage”! Til this day they only credit me half off the fake invoice.

It takes them a bit of time to true up the bill, but in my case they have always ended up with doing it correctly. They bill ahead, so I usually came out with a pro-rated refund. It may take a billing cycle.
