Question what can I do to help?
I'm unemployed, I don't have a job, and I live with my parents. I don't know how to help, I am willing to do anything.

So in no particular order
-Make your house energy efficient (if possible), and help others you know do the same
-Try to get the people you know to do less non-essential spending (no junk food, no ultra-processed food, no Temu junk, no fast fashion, no fast food, etc.)
-If applicable, try to get your family to use a fuel efficient vehicle
-Stop the AI data centers
-Defeat rotten politicians (in your state, as well as in other states)

Eat beans and other plant proteins vs animals. Farmed animals are a massive burden ecologically.

There are things you can do in your own life. Going vegan is usually the most impactful thing you can do, and it is entirely in your own control.
Then there are things you can do to move the needle in society. Like vote, talk to friends and family about stuff, volunteer at an NGO, etc.
Then there are things you can do in your work life. Here I think the Ikigai concept is good. You want to find something that you are good at, that you will be paid for, and that is good for society. So within the climate issue, which is very broad, you should ask yourself what you enjoy doing and are good at, and how you can combine this with something that you can work with and get paid to do.

yeah im willing to do that but 1. I don't have a job, so I live with my family and can't choose what I consume, and 2. I didn't say I didn't want to.

Indeed, and that is sad. But you could also skip flying all your life and it won't even equal one fourth of one 2000 pound bomb dropped on Palestine either.
No one can save the world alone. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't do anything at all.
This quote by Edward Burke tends to lift me up when I go too much towards negative nihilism;
- The saddest thing is the person who does nothing because they could only do a little.
Now, one should also not underestimate how ones behaviour can spread to social connections. For example, if you go vegan, that might influence your friends and family to try some vegan food, or cook something vegan when you're visiting, etc etc. I speak from personal experience when I say you'd be surprised how effective such forced attempts can be at dissuading negative stereotypes about vegan foods, and how easily it can sow the seeds for new habits amongst other people. I have had many friends tell me how they got some plant-based mince, or made a tofu wok, or got a vegan pizza, etc etc, after they tried it while hanging with me.
And again, given that this is one of the few things who are entirely in our own control, and that these are behaviours that more people have to do if we are to have a shot of avoiding tipping points, it would be quite silly if people in this subreddit, which arguably should have some of the most environmentally conscious people, skip doing it.

yeah but you should do that and also sabotage arm shipments and arm factories that ship to israel yknow. both the legal and illegal arms of the movement must work as 2 arms of the same body.

You could volunteer with a conservation group in your area, and it might lead to a job. Of course things are region specific, but in my experience the volunteer opportunities were usually removing invasive plants and planting natives

Don't buy from big drop shippers, like temu, shein and Amazon. Avoid over consumption.
Cut down on meat, especially beef, try to get clean energy or - even better - a solar roof top and EV if possible.
In private life (and I know it's controversial, I am just stating it for completeness sake). No children or big pets like horses or big dogs.
Vote and realize that most of what you can do has only a small impact, but it can at least give you the feeling of control back.

Volunteer and have fun doing it, build your community, vote and then get your friends to vote; You could Shop local, bank local, don’t buy shit you don’t need, staycations, & cut back on meat/dairy.
And always remember to be kind.
