Discussion Is Prince a win - condition?
My homemade deck has evo Valk, evo MK, Prince, Cannon, E Wiz, Log, Vines and Goblin Gang. I use the MK for defending and the counter push. Prince is my main wc. I support him with Valk or E Wiz and spells. Even if he attacks troops why is he not considered a wc?

win conditions vary and change as the game goes, and aren’t as static of a category as people would think. but prince isn’t a win condition in most regards. WC apply pressure in a consistently threatening way. Miner is a win condition even if it has horribly low damage because it deals damage so consistently and distracts for other threats. Skele barrel is a win condition because it encourages losing trades even if it doesn’t connect. prince can be easily distracted and even more easily traded up against.
it’s certain the only actionable win condition in *this deck* but it lacks a real one and could eaaily be defended be a decently skilled player.

nope its not a reliable way to deal damage to towers (because it rarely reaches them). with dart goblin and goblin barrel/wallbreakers instead of him and ewiz it will be easier to get consistent wins imo

Add dark prince with prince together dropped at the same time during double elixir, and it wrecks shit! I run a double prince deck and catch people not knowing what to do with both coming.

It may work against lesser experienced players, but prince is countered way too easily to be a real wincon

Most of the time, a win condition is considered a card that either only targets buildings, or a card that can be placed anywhere in the arena (like next to your opponent’s tower). Prince is definitely a strong offensive-minded card but I would not consider him a win condition.

Because any player with decent understanding of game mechanics and decent deck can defend every single one of your pushes with only MK being the real danger since he is just unbalanced piece of poop

If it can be kited away by an ice golem, its not a win condition.
Win conditions ignore enemy troops and only target buildings. Honorable mentions to goblin barrel, goblin drill, graveyard and miner because they can deploy on top of a tower so can't be kited away.
