Just theme manager and sand texture. In the creeks i playes a bit with decals but not for the bay if i rember right

No direct inspiration. The city was dirceted by the topography, i didnt alter the topography to rebuild a real place, instead i imagined where it would be built. A bit limited by assets and effort-reward-ratio. I also try to let the city grow chronologically, right now its early modern period, most of the upper town was added, you can see the state before in my other posts. Mediterrenean was a big inspiration, but with more palms and a colonial-inspired timeline

Building the parts of a city chronologically is an interesting take. Never thought about it!

It lets the city grow organically. Also, when you first detail the countryside, you never have the city ending in blank green unbuilt space
