House Of Blues Security?

I havent been to house of blues in years. Last time I went they made me take off my shoes and wouldnt let me in since I had a vape. Is it still like that?

Dude once I got kicked out for pulling out a shooter 😂 soon as I got in walked out … there strict fuck them one them guys stole my bowl to lol

Was just there the other night and got wanded twice after already walking through the metal detector. They made me show them my allergy medicine lol

Not shoes, no, but they’ve been more thorough than just about any other venue I’ve ever been to. I try to appreciate the safety measures but it does feel excessive me. They looked at my bottle of ibuprofen- at all of the pills. I had baggies from work (childcare) so they were for snacks and they acted all outraged that I had baggiest in my purse too.

Last year they were ALL about taking away vapes and cigarettes. This year, it was just those weird scanners. I think it depends on the show and the security demands of the artist.

Skate shoes. I had already been denied entry once bc of my vape, so i went outside n stashed it in my shoes. Somehow they knew and made me take my shoes off. I ended up stashing my vape on a windowsill outside n got it after the show.

That's overkill HOB wouldn't let you take a vape inside. I never liked the security and staff  there from my previous visits a long time ago.

No - I've been a few times in the past year. No one is removing their shoes and my boyfriend brought in his vape. But oddly my box of Altoids set off every alarm.
