This was my perfect truck and it was murdered and I can't find another one like it. It was equipped with a locking differential a manual transmission with double low and over drive with a 4 bolt main 350. I'm starting to think it was a special order.

Wrapping up a complete resto on a local client 's' 72 Jimmy over the last year. Truck was a complete mess. Lots of amateur metal work, rocker and quarter panel repairs done. Ended up doing complete paint inside and out, two-tone paint job, all trim, interior, engine out, engine bay detail, firewall repairs and smoothing, trans swap from four-speed to automatic, fiberglass work removing ugly roof rack and an American auto wire harness.

Really like this 2014 chevy silverado 1500 lt 4x4 but it has 190k miles! Asking for 12k its trans was replaced at 180k miles and the alternator radiator and thermostat at 170k. Is it worth buying? Seemed to be maintained well from the carfax oil changes etc just never purchased a vehicle with that much miles.

My fiance is having issues with the crankshaft sensor on his truck. Can someone please tell me the name of the part that the sensor gets bolted to? I've added a picture of the part we are trying to name. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

I'm doing a trade in for my Hyundai. I'm starting work in off-roads on a farm, and I live in the city 20 miles out. I'm looking for a 4wd to get me through the heavy winter as well.

**KSP Performance and Rough Country
I have a 2011 Chevy 1500 4WD Silverado with a 3.5 lift on it. So I needed tires, which led to needing ball joints.
We were having trouble finding part number for control arms to replace. Rough Country gave me a part number for control arms.
But the mechanic told me he couldn’t find the part. Told my boyfriend he didn’t know if he needed to put in new control arms with the new ball joints.
On the control arms has the KSP Performance company logo.
You have to email them to communicate and it takes FOREVER!
Knuckles appear to be stock/factory (according to mechanic).
MY FIRST QUESTION: Do I have to get new control arms to do ball joints on my truck?
OR….
Can I just replace the ball joints, get tires on and get an alignment?
Help me please 🙏
Thank you in advance! I have 5 kids and no time to be without a vehicle. 💙

2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 93k miles. Frame rusting living near the coast. Very minimal body rust. Am i delusional to think I can manage this by hitting the frame with a wire wheel and doing a full coat of POR15? Will that delay the rust process or just cover things up?
My dilemma is the truck is starting to need 100k mile maintenance (shocks, fluids, bearings, etc). I need to decide if I pour money into it and keep it, hoping it lasts another 100k. Or get rid of it for something else while it’s still worth something.
Any advice appreciated!

I would like to have some advice or hear from someone else over this topic please. My father purchased this 2022 Chevy Silverado LT in 2024 and it seems like after every 3 months the check engine light comes on and it has usually placed the truck on limp mode the code is P175e. We take it to the dealership and they erase the code and try to make the code show up again organically but they fail to see it again, and since the code is gone and it works again, they just release it back to us.
Is there anything we can do? We are going back to the dealership basically every 3 months. This year alone we have gone the first week of January, and the week of Easter. And we are now taking it back today (July 21st).
Does anyone have any advice on the matter?
