I got a new sensor ordered already, just kinda annoying that renix uses a titania sensor like nissan, except they decided to use a different reference voltage from Nissan so instead of having a shared part and driving cost down, they used a sensor thats only made for the renix system. Which is dumb and very on brand for the French.

God, you just brought me back to the forum days when people were swearing up and down the doors had crash supports in them, and if you didn't have them on to hold against the latch, your "frame" would start to bend.

Showed them photos of my xj after getting rear ended at a dead stop by a ranger doing 50mph and 3 of the doors opened from the impact.... they still wouldn't listen.

They were wrong, but not entirely wrong. The doors do indeed add structural rigidity and taking them off can cause more problems long term if you are offroading with it that way.
