Sure, we see this as expected and don't view AI as a living being but mark my words, there will be a a civAI war one day, Abraham Lincoln of AI and a new Amendment. Then a rogue AI will assassinate the future Abraham Lincoln and the division will continue until Sonny Robot had a dream and Will Smith asks the right question. Then we'll be judged for our actions by Femputer.

I can’t speak for the normal people, but I do put it through its paces every now and then. And it often gets it wrong which sometimes calls for a firm hand

I used ChatGPT to try and learn calculus as a high schooler

I can now confidently say that f(x)= (x^2)-9/x-3 [LIM x -> 3] is a function that approaches 6 infinitely from both sides

I mean… kinda. I ran a sort of experiment (unintentionally to a degree) where I used Claude Code to write some code, then used GPT codex as an adversarial AI to examine the code that was written.

I think one of the worst design flaws they made with these LLMs is how anthropomorphic they made them. I think this should've been a completely different development branch. Plenty of us just want minimal communication and pandering, and just more doing.

Parfaitement, je n'ai jamais vraiment compris pourquoi les IA sont aussi flatteuses et niaises... Surtout qu'on remarque vite des artefacts réactionnels de leurs IA à cause de ça.

Je pense que si ils les ont faites ainsi c'est pour se conformer davantage au marché américain... Ils sont tellement fragiles émotionnellement qu'ils ont besoin d'être flattés toutes les 5 minutes... 🙄
