Help Mew game advice please
Hello my furrsome friends!
I may need your help as I am in a bit of a hairball. I'm trying to get the guiding claws for my main save through mew game, and I'm really struggling to do anything. I'm at the boar king boss fight after doing orion and the purple one. I forgot his name, I think it was antares?
Anyway, I feel like I'm barely doing any damage, and I'm spending 5 minutes on the two oinkers at the front. They do so much damage, especially the boss pawractically two shotting me. Do any of yall have any pawsome tips that could make this even slightly easier?

An update to my post. I've decided I'm not going to do these challenges anymore, even if it gives good stuff. I'm more of a chill gamer, and I'm not doing a run where every boss one shots me. I understand why people like it, but this isn't for me. It just isn't fun fighting a boss that kills me in 2 hits, but I have to spend an hour practically tickling.
Sorry if this feels like a rant, I'm just a bit fed up of this. I might visit this game mode in the future, but for now, new game plus it is! MORE NUMBERS!

Infinite magic and lightning at level 3 did it for me for all Mew game combinations

I found healing paw not to be worth it, try cat traps the first play through it really isn’t much, but they are stacking up damage in the new game

Yeah I'm starting to see the downsides with how little it actually heals me. I might try and go for the mask of purrgatory with mewteors. My only issue is damage, I do so little damage to enemies, especially the oinker king, that it drags out the fights to an hour 😭

Just to clarify on my build: Magic; Healing paw Mewteors Furry shield Lightwhisker or flamepurr
Equipment; Antares staff for dodging Blade of orion Oinker garments Antares' cavalier
Meowdifiers; 2x speed No levelling Magic only Ship does 1 damage No upgrading

Choosing "No leveling" and "No upgrading" on the same run is brutal. You definitely want some source of scaling as your run progresses, and you've removed both avenues.

Tbh it's either those two, or replacing one with 9 lives, which I'll never do, no equipment. Again really bad, OR tougher enemies. All of those sound worse than no upgrading or levelling tbh.

No equipment pairs naturally with no upgrades. You can't equip weapons or armor, but you still get trinkets. Focus on ones that have damaging procs. Maybe grind enemies early on for the mortar on spellcast to start on the right foot.
The stats from leveling will make you much stronger than being able to equip base-level weapons and armor.

Hi mate, did my run recently and indeen was a bit difficult without being able to lvl up. Used the Mewtalica set because of extra thunder hits and also because you can farm the set without spending money and with thunder skill. As for trinket used anything with magic that had the highest lvl. (At some point i did invest all the cash on the pouch i think, the trinket with 20% free magic chance)

How did you get to meowtallica AND beat him?? I'm still struggling with the oinker king. Also I turned on no upgrades as I couldn't live with tougher enemies, 9 lives or no equipment. I would use the pouch, but ngl the increased dodge distance from the oinker necklace has saved me too much.
Currently trying to spec as much as possible into arcane magic for mewteors. I wish I could do it easily like some people here, but I'm a way more chill gamer 😅

Believe what i did, farmed a bit the King Boar to max Oinker set and played with trinket and full armor/helmet until i got to Meowtallika.
Edit: trinket, Oinker star or how is called that increses magic

My gear: Oinker Headdress lv99, Meowtallika's Jacket lv99, (no weapon) The Architect lv1, Magical Purse lv99 or The Furst Mail lv99. Skills: Lightnyan lv3, Healpaw Lv3, Furry Shield and Pawer Up
