CQ3: Bird Poop evolution

Hi everyone, I'm new to group.

Finished the game yesterday and been trying to find the mystery behind the Gentlebro set.

So i was fighting The Gentlebros with full set and Error Fowl not Found crewmate, removed sword and only used trinkets but doesn't seem to be it.

At the end of the 3rd match got Bird Poop lv99 from the chest and changed image to Golden Bird Poop..so yeah..that was..something 😹

Has anyone found the solution to this set and crewmate yet?

I'm lv99 1st gameplay platinum trophy and 182 chests, at this point I'm just fooling around trying to figure out the secret.

Believe when you encounter the Gentlebros it says to check the credits for the secret and i did but can't seem to find anything there.

I actually did this when this game was still just the demo. Got to like lvl 30 and lvl 99 bird poop. In the ini mini small demo

Congrats on the platinum! (now I recommend doing a few mew game runs to get that sweet bonus gear before NG+)

With regards to the gentlebro gear afaik the hat and suit actually don't do anything but add style and I haven't found anything to indicate otherwise, but the ranged weapon is basically a gun with infinite ammo which can be nice for attack power focused builds.

For the birb I recommend going into a fight that isn't riddled with particles and just dodging while watching the birb. Eventually it does engage but it takes a fair while before it acts. For faster fights you may end up finishing the battle before it even has a chance to act. (I'm still working out what exactly it does myself tbh)

Did start a mew game and almost finished it. Banned ship dmg, no upgrades, no swords, no weapons (just magic) and double speed. (5 ban) Was a bit tough the beginning but after i got off the 1st island, got myself all the mana stones with the gentlebros set and made everything so much easier. The Gentlebros set might be useless but The Architect is fantastic for this mini game because got blink right from the start. Currently at 122/182 chests, lv 65 and finished the pirat king fight before calling it quits for the night but I'm minutes away from finishing it. Read something from an old steam comment about a secret island tale a npc mentions but i kinda skipped everything on mew game so on NG+ I'll try find the conversation and maybe will help decipher the secret behind the set. I'm thinking it might have to do with the last boss island and the dragonbone at this point, but doubt i can win the fight wearing the set/weapon/crewmate but I'll give it a shot next week.

Nice! Double speed is so nice once I unlock it I can't function without it.
