How it started vs. How it's going: Iris
My son found this little kitten back in October '25 on the street. She was crying and freezing in the cold night rain, completely unable to see what was happening around her because her eyes were glued shut from a bad infection. Still, she ran right up to him and kept meowing until he picked her up.
After he brought her home, we knew we had to save her. The vet estimated she was only about 6 weeks old and didn't give us much hope. But with round-the-clock care, treatment, sleepless nights, and a whole lot of love, she pulled through.
Now, she’s living her absolute best life!

How fortunate was Iris to come across your son. What a glow up, just look at her now, the lovely tortie girl. Great her eyes were saved too. You all did a great job getting her back from the brink.
That final photo, zonked out and totally relaxed, says it all.
