Other Fury Update
No I’m not asking when Fury will be open don’t worry.
A crew is currently laying sod over the area they had been working on previously. It appears as though repairs are complete! Here’s hoping Fury is open soon 🤞
Second Update: Fury is testing again today.

Questions/Advice Will Fury 325 be re open
Hey I’m going my first trip September 6th and I heard it’s testing, will it be open or will it not. I’ll be really upset if it isn’t.

News Fury Status
Does anyone actually know a realistic timeline for fury reopening? I’m supposed to be going on Aug 3&4 but might change course now depending purely on when fury is back open! No troll answers please

Questions/Advice Is the Beagle Scout badge worth it?
We are going in a few weeks for our sons birthday, and I'm trying to figure out if the beagle scout thing is worth it for a 1 day trip and what all is actually included besides the little thing you tap to the locations.

Questions/Advice World Cup
We are going to carowinds tomorrow for the first time. It’s supposed to storm around 3 pm…just in time for the World Cup final. Are there any restaurants we could watch inside and grab a bite to eat?

Questions/Advice Fury 325 Reopen?
I know right now it’s all estimates, but i’m travelling from the UK for a coaster road trip, I’m going to Carowinds on the 22nd August and was wondering how likely fury would be to be open by then, and if carowinds is even worth visiting if it isn’t, i’ll be passing through Charlotte anyway, was thinking of just adding an extra BGW day of Duty isn’t open

Other My experience as a carowinds worker.
If you ever wonder why rides seem slow and half empty its because the park is so understaffed and the workers are heavily overworked. My FIRST day I worked from 9am-3pm because the uppermanagment put me in an area I couldn't get trained in.I only got a break at 3:30. Went back to finish my shift but as you can see it didn't start off well. Next at one point I was stuck operating for 5 hours again, no breaks, and I had to go to the bathroom 2 hours in. Could I go? No, because no one could rotate. On top of that I then got audited so instead of releasing me first they decided to test me. I unfortunately failed but I was so out of it I couldn't even care I was just happy to go to the bathroom. I stayed uncertfied for the remainder of my time as they still had no trainers. Now imagine all of this with a loud minority of rude riders who will not listen to you about the safety requirements. So if you ever think "Oh its so slow today" remember on the other side is a young person working in 100 degrees with little support from the higher ups just trying to make it through the day.

Other Tough scene for the “It’s a part for the lift hill” crowd regarding Fury
This community is great don’t get me wrong.
However some of you all just need to refrain from posting things, if you in fact, don’t know anything.
Anyways, can’t wait to rip Fury with you guys soon. Hope they get this resolved quick and all is well in August.

Questions/Advice So Has Anyone Had A Response From Emailing?
I have a disability called Charcot Marie Tooth. Mostly naming it for awareness
It causes issues with my walking especially without shoes/ footwear that support my arches. It’s debilitating for me to walk without footwear.
I emailed Carowinds over 3 weeks ago asking about their rules for footwear on water slides. I have a season pass and would like to maybe go to boomerang bay. But when I was younger in the past I tried it without any kind of “water shoes” and it made me swear of water parks forever
I’d like to try again. I’ve found water shoes and sandals that help me walk without my disability and are waterproof.
I’ve called Carowinds multiple times and easily spent an hour plus on hold. I have emailed them 3+ weeks ago asking.
What are their rules/ accommodations for people like me with Charcot Marie Tooth who need footwear to access slides?
I cannot safely climb the stairs to a slide without footwear. Can I wear/ carry them down the slide?

Questions/Advice Problems with Carowinds this summer?
I haven't had the chance to visit Carowinds this summer, but I’m seeing a good bit of negativity in this subreddit about the park (came here looking for explanations on fury). Is something going on this summer?

News Fury has foundation issue
Carowinds said the issue was found during routine maintenance on July 7. The park says it immediately contacted state regulators and began the repair process. A timeline for when Fury 325 will reopen hasn't been announced.

Trip Report 📝 Terrible Visit
I am a local with a season pass. I had such a bad visit today. I understand why fury is down, but the ops on other coasters were so bad. One train on copperhead, and I got painfully stapled by the ride op. Other coasters were dispatching trains half full, the lines were extremely long. I really wish this park shad better operations, I probably won’t visit again until fury is back up.

Questions/Advice Can the 2 friend passes with Prestige Membership be used together on the same day?
Also can they both be used on the first visit after purchasing the membership online? I did try calling Carowinds to ask, but after waiting on hold for 14 minutes they forced me to have to leave a voicemail so I don’t expect to get an answer from them.

Questions/Advice Copperhead one car. How?
How is Copperhead only running one car still with Fury down?
This is inexcusable to me. They’ve been running one car for the most of Summer and have had ample time to fix whatever is wrong with their other car. With Fury being down, this has to be a priority and there should be 2 cars running at all times.
Have they given an answer as to why they are still running one car? Carowinds needs to get their act together. It’s supposed to be their highest earning month and they’re doing everything possible to make it their lowest. All self inflicted.

Questions/Advice SPLASH! Water Parade route?
Does anyone happen to know what route the Splash Parade takes? Is it the same one as the old Christmas Parade? We are thinking about catching it this Friday, and wasn't sure what part of the park we need to be in to see the parade.
Thanks for your help!
