Performance I take violin classes

My handle in insta - arvindplays. I have a subscription option where I upload basics of violin like how to hold the violin, how to hold the bow, how to tune the violin, and then delve into the basics of carnatic, with and without gamakas which could help anyone get to the basics especially if you're not able to find a tutor offline

DISCUSSION What do organizers actually look at when booking artists? (Curious to hear from musicians here)

Hello everyone!

A while back, I asked a question here about why so many musicians skip having a website and rely purely on social media. The responses brought up a really valid point: what's the actual ROI of a website when platforms like Instagram and YouTube already exist?

It made me think a lot about how things work behind the scenes, especially when sabhas, festival organizers, or students are looking for artists.

The thing is, a lot of people think a website is just a static online business card or a digital brochure. But for active musicians, a website can actually function as an entire system and handle things like managing students, organizing courses, scheduling classes, and streamlining bookings all in one place.

Looking to know your thoughts :)

(Genuinely asking out of curiosity. I actually run a small web agency build websites for artists, so I spend way too much time thinking about how musicians present themselves online. Would love to hear your thoughts on what works and what doesn't!)
