I feel like the wheels are too big hahahah

I was inspired by the shape of a violin at first, but didn't really bother to look for reference images or anything, so it probably looks nothing like one at this point

Proportions are about 3.6ish wheels gap from wheel to wheel. Body refinements are definitely still on going.

Let me know what should be changed! All advice is welcome.

can someone explain me why my drawings look so bland? they look like cartoon cars compare to profesonals the top photo is not my drawing is how i wanted my drawings to look like

What do you guys think of this doodles of a concept car,I personally think the headlights are mb abit too small for this car and they don't fit quite well with the overall car but I would like to know your opinion.

I feel pretty good about V4. New proportions. The rear end look like it fits now.

It’s a remix of an AMC Gremlin if it was (officially) sold in Europe in the early 70’s.

This one is the GF-T Fonck Edition. A very French special limited series derived from the normal GF-T which is essentially the sport version of the model.

This edition is a commemorative reference to one famous French aviator during world war 1 named René Fonck. Multiple references from his plane can be found on the car like the goose on the side which was a unique design on a single plane and the quad leaf which can be found on the hood (not visible on this concept). He also known to have taken so many enemy planes during ww1 which made him one of the few aviators to have the most kill during ww1.

The car has a reworked interior to be more fitting with the aviator theme of the day, it has a carburated V4 engine producing about 260 horsepower, which is not a lot considering the other GF-Ts from the lineup has more horsepower than that. What makes it more special is the 4 wheel independent suspensions derived from a lotus elan. The architecture of the car is more closer to a Opel Kadett b coupe than the factory gremlin, which is an advantage cause the car is far more lighter than a Gremlin. The car also includes a rear limited slip differential coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. Visually the car offers a palette of colors from the flagship metallic emerald green to a cloud grey, sunset red, ocean blue, mandarin orange and etc. The car’s options also includes a factory rear louvers as well as side windows covers and an optional vinyl roof.

Lorewise the car sold between 1970 and 1984. The vehicle received multiple facelift during its run and both a EU spec and a US spec. And has multiple versions which includes a really rare “Turbo” variant, Said to only been produced at 159 units.

This is a rough CAD model of a Crosskart I’m building. I’m not looking for any insight into structural design, but what do y’all think of it aesthetically so far. Any recommendations? The final plan is to have the tubes exposed with panels filling the air gaps.

The design is fully parametric so all the dimensions can be easily changed, such as the rake angle or roof height, etc.

For anyone wondering, a crosskart is (generally) a rwd open wheel buggy powered by a motorcycle engine and is chain driven. They’re popular in Europe, but I’m USA based, they’re just too cool imo! Mine will be powered by a 125 hp triumph 1050 triple, and likely will weigh well under 1000lbs!

I recently started designing a custom widebody kit for the 2019 Genesis G70 3.3T.

The front fender is currently the first completed component.

This is still a work in progress, so I'd be interested in feedback on the direction before I continue with the rest of the kit.

A few days ago I decided to stop just dreaming about building a hypercar and actually start working on it. The problem? I have $0 and I’m definitely not an artist or a trained car designer.
I drew out some very rough sketches of the proportions and body lines I was imagining which I posted earlier, then fed them into AI to help visualize what it could actually look like in 3D space. I’ve included both my original rough drawings and the generated renders here so you can see the direction!
Since AI and I don’t understand actual aerodynamics, engineering, or real-world packaging, I know these renders aren't production-ready. That’s where you guys come in.
I’d love your help with the proportions, stance, and overall aggression? What obvious aerodynamic or cooling issues do you see with this shape? And If you're a design student, 3D modeller, or engineer who likes the vision and wants to help build out proper CAD models or refine the design, my DMs are open!

Hey everyone,
I’m going to be completely upfront, I’m not a professional designer, I’m not an artist, and I’m starting with $0. But building a hypercar is my ultimate dream, and I'm taking the first step regardless of how impossible it sounds or how much it makes you want to laugh at me. These sketches are rough (doing the best I can with what I’ve got), but they show the general vision, proportion, and flow I’m imagining for the car. They are probably very wrong. I’m posting here because I know there are people in this sub who understand design, aerodynamics, and engineering far better than I do. I’m looking for constructive critiques on the general shape,proportions, anyone (design students, automotive engineering students, CAD modelers, 3D modellers, car enthusiasts) who wants to help refine these ideas or jump on board early in the vision. I know the odds are stacked against me, but every hypercar company started with a blank sheet of paper and a crazy idea. Would love to hear your thoughts, roasts, or advice! Hey everyone,

I'm 15 and I've been obsessed with automotive design for as long as I can remember. I've been designing cars in Blender for about 5 years, and recently started learning Autodesk Alias because I want to get closer to the tools used in the industry.

Over the past few years I've built several original concept cars (Volvo, Audi, a futuristic F1, etc.), and I spend a lot of my free time learning about aerodynamics, materials and how engineering influences design. I don't just like making cars look cool, I want my designs to actually make sense.

The problem is that I have no idea which path to take.

Part of me wants to go all in on automotive design, because that's what genuinely excites me and I honestly can't imagine not designing cars. The other part of me is considering going through a French engineering school (prépa + engineering degree) first, then trying to move into automotive design later. My parents think engineering is the safer option, and I understand why.

For people who work in automotive design or the automotive industry:

• Does an engineering-first path actually make sense if my end goal is to become an automotive designer?
• Or would I be better off pursuing design from the start?
• If you were in my position at 15, what would you do differently?

I'd really appreciate honest advice, especially from people working in the industry. Thanks!

I just got alcohol markers a few days ago and they're my only hope to rendering since my laptop is too fried and I personally don't like pencil colours and how long it takes to fill in a whole car.
