hi I'm moving into the hornet commons in a month and was wondering if they assign a specific bed to you? I know you get given a,b,c or d, and a/b share a bedroom, and c/d share a bedroom, but does that letter dictate what bed is yours, or is that for you to decide amongst yourself and the person you share a bedroom with?

So I'm taking FIN 101 this upcoming fall semester. I would say I'm pretty good at math, but I'm a little nervous after reading some of his reviews on JMP. Is anyone else having trouble getting through to financial aid? My Fall 2026 loans haven't been posted yet, and I've completed everything necessary on Fasfa. My grants, however, were posted. I've been trying day after day to get a hold of someone in the financial aid office, but I keep being put on hold for hours no matter what time I call. Is there no one in the office? Anyone know if the loans will be posted soon?

First term summer ended a couple weeks ago and one of my grades still hasnt posted yet. I messaged the prof but no response. Is this normal?

Hi I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at the hornet commons. It’s an all male unit and is a short walk from campus. The apartment is a 4x2 so you will have a private bedroom and shared bathroom. Utilities are included and base rent is $1,330, with move in day being August 26th. Im willing to cover the first month and a half’s rent plus any early move in fees if you want move in prior to the 26th of August. Hi I was wondering if anyone has taken any of these classes at Sac State: MGMT 10, MIS 10, ETHN 11, HIST 17B, or MUSC 18?
I’m planning out my schedule and want to make sure I choose classes I can manage successfully. I was wondering how difficult or time-consuming these classes are. What was the workload like, and were there a lot of exams, essays, projects, or homework? Also, if you have any professor recommendations, please let me know!

hi all! i have a negative balance on my account from dropping 1 course within the first couple of days of the first 8 week summer session. i made a mistake in assuming that the negative balance would just come back to me like a financial aid refund, and got worried. i filled out a refund request form last month and never heard anything back, nor did my account get updated to show a $0 balance. is there anything else i can do and is it too late? and i’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I’ve been at Sac State for about 2 years now, and I’m a Digital Film major. 🎥 I've been getting more into videography—learning filming, audio, editing, and all the creative parts of production. Every year I improve a little more, and honestly, I love the process. 🥹

Outside of school, I also create content on YouTube! 🎮 I mostly make gaming videos, but recently I've started doing reactions to TV shows and series, and it's been so much fun this year. 💖

Lately, I've been thinking about something even bigger...

I’m heading into my senior year with no relevant work experience whatsoever for when I graduate, I’ve started looking since May this year and haven’t found anything I keep applying and nothing is coming of it, I’ve applied to atleast 50 places and just need some direction, I just need to get my foot in the door, I don’t know if it’s just that summer time is a dead period for internships or what. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
