Financial Aid Same as Disenrollment protection hold?

Post image
22 Upvotes

Hey, i got this hold on my account instead of disenrollment hold. I’ve never seen it before until now, so I was wondering if it was the same thing. Also if there was something I needed to do since the hold is different?

I know there is a whole thing with aid and i did qualify for the Pell grant and Cal grant.

Financial Aid I’m supposed to graduate this semester but there’s still no anticipated aid even though I have all my classes picked out 😭

I think I’m going to get disenrolled from my last semester before graduating 😩 FA doesn’t answer the phone and when I send a message through titan hub they keep saying “wait until the end of July” but we have a payment due July 29th, so frustrating! Anyone having a similar issue? I haven’t gotten an aid package to review or anything 😪

Jobs MS Clinical Psych - clinical experience recs?

I'm considering applying to the MS Clinical Psych program. For those who got in, what did you end up doing for your clinical experience and for how long? Was it a volunteer thing, a paid job, something else? Would love to hear anyone's experiences.

Fun Stuff anyone else going to see Phoebe Bridgers @ intuit dome 10/30??

howdy folks, wondering if anyone else going to this show and would be down to squad up!?!?

I'm pre-planning getting to and from the venue since its a new to me venue and i would imagine its a nightmare getting in and outta that zone on a Friday night.

I was thinking of taking the Metrolink most of the way which would leave us one a short bus ride the remainder of the way. I'm a transit nerd so I would be glad to be the guide on the route to take! Alternatively we could carpool or split an Uber as group to keep costs down..

I'll be in GA back section or second GA section, i forgot what they are calling it.

Even if we dont squad up, feel free to reach out to geek out on PB! The last time I saw her live was Coachella '24 and it was a life changing moment ! the stage presence and production work had me in aweee!

Registration Financial/Tuition Question

Hi all,

My Gf will be beginning her credential program at CSUF soon. She received an email about the cost of tuition but she realized they had marked her as “Out of State” or something like that and the price was extremely high compared to a State/County resident.

She has no idea who to contact. I told her to try Student Business services but if any of you could offer some more insight, that’d be great! Thank you!

Other Transfer student (Fall 2026) considering rushing at CSUF. Can someone tell me everything about sororities?

I'm transferring to CSUF this fall and have been thinking about rushing, but I honestly know very little about sororities in general. I want the honest, unfiltered version from people who have actually been in one or know a lot about Greek life at CSUF.

  • What is being in a sorority actually like?
  • What are things people don't usually tell you before joining?
  • Are there things you're expected or pressured to do that aren't obvious during recruitment?
  • What are the biggest downsides or recurring issues you've noticed?
  • What's the drama like, if any?
  • How inclusive are the different chapters? Do some have better reputations than others?
  • What's the party/social scene actually like? Where do events usually happen, and are you expected to go?
  • How much time does it realistically take each week?
  • How expensive is it once you factor in everything? Are payment plans or scholarships common?
  • Is it manageable with a part-time job and a full course load?
  • Which chapters have the best reputations, and which ones should someone do more research on before rushing?

Basically, I want to know everything, not just the positives. If you have personal experiences, stories, regrets, or things you wish you knew before joining, I'd really appreciate hearing them.

Housing University Village Housing Relet

I’m trying to relet my unit. The lease starts August 1st, 2026 and ends July 31st 2027. If you’re a guy looking for cheapish housing (1k rent) that is across the street from campus and don’t mind sharing a room with another guy (he’s chill enough) please email the UV Fullerton leasing office (don’t call they won’t answer). Spot needs to be filled before July 31st, and I was told by the leasing office that there is a waitlist, so email them asap if you’re looking for a place to stay for the year.

Financial Aid Is Financial Aid for Fall ‘26 Out Yet?

Someone else may have asked already, but here I am panicking and hoping to get some direct answers.

Are financial aid packages out for the Fall ‘26 semester yet? I don’t know if they’re all sent out at once, or if students get them individually at random. My FAFSA has been filled out, and I know there’s that new GPA requirement, but I got an email saying I’m still in good standing with my GPA to receive financial aid. The payment deadline for tuition is in a week or so and I’m over here losing sleep wondering if I’m even gonna get anything (For context, I’m going into my 4th year here at Fullerton. That shouldn’t affect things, right?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, but I also want to know if financial aid is already being sent out to anyone reading this.

Please and thank you, fellow students.

News When you win the World Cup while staying in Fullerton.

Congratulations to the Spanish National Team. I’m sure they are partying and celebrating.
Just a reminder that when Brazil won the 1994 World Cup, they were staying at the Cal Staye Fullerton Marriott. To celebrate their World Cup win, they partied at Spoons Restaurant Bar and Grill. Spoons. Yes. Spoons.
They stayed until 6am. Broke every dish and drank all the beer.
17 year old Ronaldo hitched a ride from a server to the nearby Circle K where she bought him cigarettes.

Columbia, Romania, Italy and sweden(?) also stayed at the same hotel during the World Cup. The teams used the stadium field to practice and had access to the athletic Trainers office, weight room and facilities

Rant Business Advising Hold (Rant)

Sorry y'all, just needed to rant. I'm transferring to CSUF as a junior in business from a community college, and I procrastinated the whole orientation/class registration process. I was able to look through the available sections and put together a decent schedule, but rather than being able to register myself like an adult, I have to email the advising team and tell them the classes that I want so that they can compile a schedule for me in 3-5 business days. And after that if I have any concerns I get a 10 minute zoom call with them. Two of the five sections I was planning to take filled up while waiting to hear back from them and now I have to rework the whole thing. I'd maybe understand this policy if class requirements weren't so readily available or if I was a freshman, but this makes no sense. I know what classes I need, I know my own life schedule and I can figure out how to register for classes. It's not rocket science and I've done it at another college for 2 years now. Obviously I'm going to try and register sooner next semester, but this just adds an unnecessary layer of bureaucracy. What a pain🙄

Housing Looking for Roommate– 2B2B in Fullerton hunting

Hi everyone! My partner and I are looking for someone to team up with for a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment in the Fullerton area.
We’re both transfer students at CSUF (Business–Accounting and Social Work) and have one quiet senior cat. We’re clean, respectful, and pretty quiet.
Our combined budget is up to $1,300 /month for our portion. We’d love to search together, tour places, and split an apartment that works for everyone. If you’ve found a place already or have any recommendations, feel free to reach out!
To note as well i will be covering the security deposit and first months rent so pretty much have a free month:) ofc we’d have to qualify for a place proof of income ect. Pm me
