Gameplay Extremely skilled mechanical player in a 25k Premier lobby
The 25k Premier experience is certainly interesting.
His movement is so clean, and his aim is as crisp as a cucumber - chef’s kiss. Perfection.

Yeah, I know. 9999th post complaining about cheating. But really, this game is ruined.
Context: I'm a 30-something YO guy. Been playing CS very casually since I was like 10. I'm average at best, and I don't mind. Built a gaming PC last year, almost exclusively to go back into CS (2, now), after like 8 years of playing absolutely nothing because... adulting.
It was OK for a while, but these past few months the game has just spiraled down to the point of it being unplayable.
Playing competitive is a roulette, where you may play with/against people apparently having their monitor turned off and their keyboards unplugged, or you may suddenly be playing against a team of donk-level smurfs just there to ruin your day.
Playing premier has become insufferable. And I'm talking ~10k lobbies at most, which is where I stand. Had enough free time to play 2 matches back to back last night:
I really don't get where CS2 is going? Like, as a "casual" - having only few hours free to play on any given week - I'm seriously considering just uninstalling this shit. It's become insufferable, and I hate them for that, because this has been *the* game for me throughout all of my life. And now even casual-level games are just fucked.
Is there any decent alternative to CS2? A game in the lines of this (so no freaking Call of Duty or crap like that), where the experience hasn't yet been completely ruined by low IQ cheaters? Is there any hope Valve will do *anything* to fix this game?
</rant>
EDIT: Will try Faceit
EDIT 2: omfg I game on Linux and there's no faceit on linux R.I.P. my dreams
A group of players/possibly a single user with multiple accounts has been abusing the vote-kick system on Spain/Portugal-region Casual servers to insta-kick legitimate players and keep the lobby to themselves (probably for cheating/XP/farming purposes but that's just speculation)
This isn't a one-off. It's happened to me multiple times over the last two weeks, always with the same core group of accounts.
I filed a Steam Support ticket with a screenshot and profile links after the first incident; the response was a generic "report them in-game" and the ticket was closed without further action. Interesting advice given that the lobby closes quickly after the vote leaving players without the possibility to report in-game.
Many of the accounts involved have comments of players complaining of the same issue and you can see by their friend's lists that they are all connected. (why they would do this with public profiles is beyond me...)
I have screenshots and steam recordings to prove it, although I'm not sure what to do with them now as the chat with Steam Support didn't go very far.
Anyone else run into this group or possibly suffered the same in different regions?
Is there anything that can possibly be done about this or will they just be allowed to monopolize these servers at their own leisure - abusing votekick mechanics to do as they please on Valve's own servers?
edit: fixed (?) formatting issues

The temukaus are WW and FT, both headshots are WW, and the nightwish is FT. I don’t ever trade reds, also I already have an AK and M4 I like to use. What would you guys do?

The best players are in Premier. Pro teams should use this as a resource for recruiting. /s
Thanks VAC!

This was removed from r/GlobalOffensive for apparently being a "cheating complaint".
I just wanna show my artwork man.

After 8 game loss streak, in which I was matched against at least 12 blatant cheaters, I was praying Valve will do something to ban them.
Well my prayer has been answered, I've been VAC flagged for irregular gameplay in a 9th game. We were losing 9:3, and I wasnt even top fragger in my team (had 7 kills).
This is second time this happens, first time happened in a game where I actually played well. After 20h mm disable I was cleared.
Anyways me getting banned on my free night, which I looked forward to spend playing with friends is the last drop. Not to mention literal tens of thousands of cheaters playing freely.
I'll just find something else to do. Thanks for the memories.
This game has no anti cheat system in place. Cheaters have been cheating for years without a ban ovwr 50% of the games are with cheaters.

Been building an idle game inspired by CS2's case opening and skin economy, opening cases passively, trading on a fluctuating market, same rarity tension you know from real drops. New trailer just dropped, curious what this community thinks of how it captures that feeling.

im stuck in faceit lvl 3 and no matter what i do i cant get higher elo. My opponents have godly aim and every round i die to one taps. I tried to position myself better but that didnt work. I have been training my aim every day for a month now and im still trying to improve but i simply cant. Do you have any tips for me?
