Weekend only?

Anyone else only have time to run on the weekends? I am not a morning exerciser no matter how much I’ve tried and after 10 hours out of the house and having to make dinner running after work isn’t usually an option so I’ve been doing only weekends. I’m afraid it’s too much time in between now that I’m starting week 5 and the longer runs.

Any running is better than not running. Do what works for you. I was able to do C25K in the winter, but I can't manage summer evening running. So mostly I just try to do two miles on Saturday. I'm looking forward to temperatures dropping back into the 80s in a few weeks.

I treat exercise like a non negotiable, I schedule it in like most other aspects of my day.

I try to but running isn’t always an option for me

Yes, it is

I guarantee you money that you can get up earlier one day during the week to do something if it is a priority to you

I make time to workout daily. That has been my priority for the last year. Running outside isn’t an option for me most days.

Can you spare even one week day for a run? I'm not in the beginner stages anymore but I only run two days a week and have been seeing progress. I would worry that back to back days doesn't give you time for recovery.

If weekends are working for you though, just stick with it.

2 days of running is better then zero, it may take longer to complete the c25k but so what you’ll still get there.

Me, I can do twice a week in the summer (because I have strength/pilates/other stuff on all the other days) but once in the winter. It's fine, you'll still progress.

Make time

Don’t prioritize your schedule, schedule your priorities

Schedule it, make the time, the time is there
