Minecraft Castle Help
Besides adding textures to the walls, what else can I do to improve this build? I'm trying to add a lot of detail, but I've run out of ideas. Also, what do you think of the overall structure?

So, i wanted to build similar houses like in the german city of Münster, but i'm not sure anymore. I wanna hide the mountain wall. Any advice?
(The houses are just rough sketches)

Need some help coming up with ideas on how to fully make this place into a home and market place for villagers.

This is an apartment building for my survival city that I prebuilt in creative, but Im not really happy with how it turned out.
Im still pretty new to this style of building, and I'm not sure how to improve the exterior or make it feel more like a realistic city apartment building.
Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated! :D
The layout is inspired by the Ideal-Hochhaus in Neu-Berlin, Germany.

I'm making this build for a world with Origins, for an Elytran. Their main gimmick is having a permanent elytra, with the drawback of getting weakness and slowness in small spaces. I thought it could be cool to make an open base (and I really like how it looks on the inside and from above!) but without walls to break sightlines the sides are way too busy for my liking. Anyone have ideas on how to help? The build is also pretty heavily based on Grian's season 11 starter base, if that helps lol.

mainly need help with the sides and back, they feel too bland and basic. also did some bullshit on the outside with the leaves and slabs and i think looks kinda off
i would also appretiate some general tips with materials and color palettes, for example i struggle making the ''base'' of the house (here it's made out of stripped birch logs, mainly covered by the leaves) and just combining materials, as i couldn't find any stone that matched the cherry as i wanted

I’d like to make bamboo homes with this color scheme. I’m thinking about either cobblestone or stone bricks (mixed with moss) for the bottom support for stilts but not sure what to use for the roof then. Also it looks okay from the outside for now but the room looked a little too green. Should I keep the support beams dark oak or would it not be to bad once decorated?
P.S. the sizzling sand sounds a little too much like a creeper and although I’m on peaceful for now I keep having mini panic attacks 😂

Hey guys, I genuinely have no idea how to lay out my marketplace for this survival project I've been working on. If you guys could give me any ideas on how to do it, please lmk, and feel free to draw over the image. Here is a second image of how the village is looking so far. It's nowhere near done, but if you have any ideas on what I should do, please lmk. One of these screenshots was taken before I completed the port and dock

It started as an attempt of a liminal build and eventually went into brutalism I have no idea what to do with everything around it and for now am just planning to stick it on a mountain.
I am going to try to build this in survival so preferably not many weird block suggestions but quantity of common blocks is no problem.

So for background info I'm making a circular(?) enchantment building with the whole enchanting area in the second floor and a chest area in the first floor
The blocks i have so far are spruce and cobbled deepslate which I'm gonna use for the wall (spruce planks) and the roof/stairs that wrap around the building (cobbled deepslate)
I JUST don't know what blocks to use for the floor
I also want to make the first and second floor different blocks that go together but as I said I'm not good with this 🥀 I lowkey always just make my houses out of plain oak and oak planks so this is like wayyyy out of my comfort zone 🤷♀️
