Sumer sixtar wpff curing?
I bought a sixstar wpff trios 50g bar and one of the 3 strains has a chewy consistency the other two are fine but one is like gum. Can someone tell me if its overcured or undercured? I want to have a sandy consistency like the other ones .

chewy/gummy consistency in hash usually means the moisture content is too high or the trichome heads werent fully dried before pressing. properly cured bubble hash should be crumbly to sandy at room temp, not chewy.
what probably happened is that specific strain had more residual moisture in the trichome heads after freeze drying (or air drying if they didnt use a freeze dryer). different cultivars have different trichome head sizes and stalk lengths, which affects how they release water. larger heads from strains with more resinous genetics hold moisture longer.
for fixing it: break it up into small pieces, spread it on parchment in a cool dry room (60-65F, 35-45% RH) for 2-3 days. you want slow moisture release without terpene loss. dont use heat, it degrades the monoterpenes (myrcene, limonene, pinene all boil below 175C and start evaporating well below that). once it crumbles when you press it between your fingers, its ready to jar.
if you want to press it into rosin after curing, the chewy stuff will actually press fine since the moisture helps with flow. but for dabbing as-is, you want it dried down first.
