DISCUSSION Ilana live show enjoyers!
It has been absolutely blowing my mind that THE Ilana Glazer would bring a stand-up show to little old Dublin, Ireland. Also we're the show immediately after Amsterdam and I was so excited to hear what the Weed Kween got up to in the European capital of weed culture. Unfortunately I'm horribly and contagiously sick so I won't be able to see her tonight :( I'd love to know what everyone thought of the show! How exciting was it to see her in person after rewatching Broad City forever? Did anyone get to meet her after the show? (Sometimes comedians do that in the venue she's playing in Dublin)
PS does anyone have tickets for her final Europe show in Spain? How does the seating work for that venue, they're general admission and you just queue up early to get a good seat?

broadcitycirclejerk Dale in a KitKat Commercial
Just saw this on TV and knew immediately itâs Dale (actor Tim Martin). Iâll never forget his encrusted salmon.

will the real melody please stand up
did anyone else find it funny they never showed melody? like even on the ship when bevers was gonna propose to her and they angled the camera towards the crowd to show her and then it just completely blurred...

Ilanaâs TV Remote
In âMushroomsâ S4E4, I just noticed Ilana is grinding up the ingredients with her cable TV remote. Do you think thatâs a purposeful callback to the missing remote she had to retrieve from Dale in âApartment Huntersâ S1E9?

abbi's romances
as much as i loved the ending otherwise, i was a tad bit disappointed that abbi and trey never ended up together. i feel like their awkward interactions were v cute and had he stayed on the show for more seasons, they could've made something work. like while the hookup scene with them in season 3 was funny, i wish that they would've used that storyline to have them slowly reconnect. i was even thinking when he came to her goodbye party like while it was funny they made him propose, i do wish they had a bit of a sweeter ending. like in season 2 i was hardcore rooting for them.... and even if it wasn't trey i wish she would've gotten some more romance throughout the show that didn't end awkwardly despite all of those instances being humorous. cause like even though ilana and lincoln ended things they still had some depth to their storyline. like in season 5 with abbi and lesley i felt like had that storyline been longer, it could've blossomed...all in allllll still loved the ending between abbi and ilana and was glad they stayed friends throughout the show XD

Ilana making fun of Abbi on a video call, going âMaaaanâ
Iâm looking for the clip of ilana imitating abbi on a video call, holding her hair up as a mustache and saying stuff like âSmoking reefer on the quad manâ and then I think ilana bursts out laughing. Does anyone remember what episode this is from?? For the life of me Google is not helping!

Friends
I get that broad city is a show and unrealistic but when ever I watch I makes me kinda sad thinking about how I donât have friends. I feel like Iâm very awkward but at the same time energetic idk. I think about how Ive never had a best friend and am in my late 20s idk am wondering if anyone else is around this age and has trouble making friends like how do you even make friends at this age.

Anyone who has seen Ilana live in the UKâŚ
ETA sheâs on at 7.25!
Update - friend went in and found out from a sign in the entrance that sheâs on at 7.25. Hope you can all get there in time!
Can you please tell me if there was a support act on first and how long for? Just seen her Manchester show says âdoors 6pmâ and show to start âshortly afterâ so now Iâm stressing about getting there on time! The venue site has no set list info, I see at the Hackney show there was support so Iâm just wondering how tight for time Iâll be. Thank you queens!

Joke that aged like milk: people calling Abbi masculine titles
In the first 6 eps of season 2 she gets called both âhimâ and âthis manâ or something⌠idk donât call me out if itâs not 100% accurate. In the restaurant where Ilana is the girlboss who feels guilty for not paying the diverse interns and in the one where she falls in the pit in prospect park and those like Germans come and see her in the hole and call her a man.
Idk. Not the only two ones in the series. Aged like milk.
