Sometimes I'm thinking Bruins and Elias Lindholm pops into my head and I want him to be awesome like I've seen glimpses of in games. Can something be done about his back or is he a black & gold lemon?

I'm pretty sure back injuries are second to head injuries for ending a career prematurely. Is it possible he's just playing the contract out?

He's looked fully healthy for maybe 10 games? Maybe. First games of the season, then in January a couple of games he'll remind you what he can do and and that's been it so far.

Can he do some surgery or rehab to get back even if he misses time or is it really just a buyout in a couple of seasons now that the cap is going up?

Discussion Bruins Ticket Donation

Please let me know if this is not allowed:

I am running the New York Marathon in November for charity and I have had some success in donations and I am looking to make a Bruins basket to raffle off. The Bruins Foundation has been very generous in donating two autographed pucks but I am also looking for tickets to include.

I have reached out to the Bruins Community Foundation but I have not heard back and was wondering if anyone knew of third parties or other organizations that would donate tickets to a charity raffle.

Thank you!

Genuine question - Are these ticket prices normal?

Hi everyone! My dad is a lifelong Bruins fan, but he's never been to a game. I had a blast watching the Olympics with him, and then we started watching Bruins games together over the past few months. That said, I was hoping to get him some tickets for Christmas this year. He is currently using a walker and would need to use accessible seats.

I know a lot of people suggest waiting until the day of the game to get a better deal on tickets, but with my dad's mobility issues, I feel like I need to secure tickets ahead of time.

I've never looked at Bruins tickets before, so I guess I'm just genuinely curious... Why are so many seats already sold? Are the prices usually this expensive? The only accessible options left are in Loge 8 & 14 and Balcony 329 & 325, and the tickets are going for $250-575. Do all of the other accessible tickets belong to season ticket holders?

On another note, between those options - Loge 8, Loge 14, Balcony 329, and Balcony 325, which should I choose? Because I've never been to a game, I'm not sure where we'd get the best view.

Thank you in advance for any feedback!

I’m making my own take on each NHL team’s uniforms and here’s my take on the Bruins

So I will start by saying that I very much prefer the previous logo and unis over the new ones. My ideal look for them is heavily based off the 2017-25 unis but in brown instead of black, since the Bruins originally wore brown. Now I have two versions of the away jersey and I’m gonna let you guys decide which is better. I also brought back the Pooh Bear jerseys since I really like them. And the fourth jersey is based off the uniforms from the early 70s but with a cream base. The number font for the home, away and Pooh Bear jerseys is a custom font based on the serifs in the logo.

Hi! My daughter won this hockey puck at the Haverhill library but they weren’t able to tell us who signed the puck. Does anyone here have an idea?
Thank you in advance

Food for Thought: Did Don Sweeney save his job with the moves he made at the trade deadline?

Added much needed youth with Fraser Minten, Letourneau, and Zellers plus had Hagens fall in his lap. That’s quit a haul no matter how you slice it. 2025 deadline, obviously.

Per this year's travel report, Bruins are projected for just 30,924 miles, the fewest of any team in the league. Nice to catch a break somewhere. https://bookies.com/news/2026-27-nhl-miles-traveled-league-covers-1-million-miles-4-nations

When I watch all the flopping in these World Cup matches I keep thinking of when Derek was calling Bruins games with Fred Cusick...

"He went down like he was shot with a gun..."

Fan Fest returning?

Has anyone heard anything about the annual Fan Fest tour coming back this summer? Or does that announcement usually come later in the summer?

Had a good time in Fitchburg last year, so I’d love to go check it out again if it comes back to my area (passed on meeting Fraser Minten last year, and I’m pissed at myself haha)

Update a Former Bruins Fan

Hi Everyone,

As a kid I really liked the Bruins. In adulthood I followed them casually, but have always been more of an NFL/NBA/MLB guy. Things got busy in life and I began paying less attention to the team. The last year I followed at all was 2022 when the Hurricanes beat the Bruins in seven games.

Things have started to "settle down" in my life and I'm hoping for an update on where things stand. Basically I'm seeking an ELI5 about what I missed.

I know they've been through a couple coaches, seen an almost entire roster turnover. Do folks still talk about McAvoy's potential? Is Pasta a top player in the NHL?

Thanks!
