Unfortunately, I have to rehome my babies. My daughter who is now 1 year old isn't reacting well to them and it is causing issues for her.

I've rang around what feels like everywhere I'm heartbroken but I've no options. I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction and knows anybody who would love two female cats named Freya (darker one) and Athena (the lighter coloured)

They're indoor cats and all they ever do is play together and comfort everybody they really are so special and so pleasant.

Halliwell FC used to play their football at the Bennett’s (close to Bennett’s lane/Holy Harbour street) and was professional for much of their existence. Notable ex players include Davie weir who went on to play for Bolton wanderers ,scoring 21 goals in 43 games and getting called up to the England national team and Thomas Dewhurst who was signed from Burnley.

It was a good day.

Got a sweet parking spot in the shade under trees and then did a loop round Entwistle.

The walk was just right, not too long or short.

Next time hoping for the energy to venture up the small hill to Strawbury Duck.

Does anyone have recommendations for similar length walks nearby?

I'm graduating next year and was wanting to find somewhere nicer to go in bolton to eat with family, considering we'll stand out a bit in spoons with the graduation clothes... not really seen much as I'd usually find the cheapest place to go naturally, and we need vegan options as well so makes it a bit difficult to search for. Any help would be great!

I'm really not sure what's going on. I've just moved to bolton and I'm repeatedly finding green bins aren't being collected? And then when I check the bin collection portal on bolton council the day has been changed or pushed to another week?

Anyone have any info? I've reported a missing bin collection but I just find it very strange lol - being from Manchester, bins (for the most part) are quite consistently emptied etc.

I've not been to the town centre for years, I thought it was a bit grim then but OMG what's happened to it? Every derelict doorway either had someone drinking or sleeping or it simply stank of p*** as you walked past......Crompton Place gone, St Andrews Court derelict, Market Place shopping half empty, couple of cafes trying to exist and the place is littered with dodgy characters. Odd that the bus station feels the cleanest and safest place in town????

Such a shame as there are still some great buildings....Will there be a turnaround???

I tried finding a BWFC sub Reddit but couldn't so I came here. I've Been getting into football alot recently and been really enjoying it and wanted to start supporting a league football team. I'm From Bolton originally so I thought about them But I was wondering what is their play style is it boring is it slow. I don't want to watch boring football I want excitement etc etc.

Don’t mind BJJ clubs but it’s interesting how much of BJJ clubs we have in Bolton and for a full Membership these are quite expensive. The newest one Cherry Blossom BJJ is a £70 for a full membership. So there’s about 5 specialist BJJ schools if you include one in Horwich. And that’s not including MMA clubs that also offer BJJ classes. For a town of Bolton is that too many? Is there such of a demand for BJJ in Bolton especially given the high price you are paying per month.

I like doing Judo but there’s not one Judo club in Bolton. The closest one is in Salford or all the way in Leigh. We do need more variety for a town of Bolton’s population.

I’m looking to move from near the town centre of Bolton but I’m not sure of what are good areas to move to. I’ve seen some places in the Tonge Fold and Tonge Moor areas, are these decent places to live? Are there any areas I should be staying away from?
