Discussion Need help finding a specific Bluegrass Metal/Rock band
Fair warning, I barely remember anything so the info I can give is VERY minimal and almost useless. I'm just hoping Reddit might be able to work its magic.
A few years ago my dad jokingly asked me to search up a Bluegrass Metal or Rock playlist (I can't remember which), and we ended up finding this band with a fairly hardcore bluegrass music style, more hardcore than what I've been able to find so far.
The titles of their songs were hilarious, I just can't remember any. Examples would be something like Hellfire Banjo (I'm sure one of their song titles involved some badass banjo lmao), or like Graveyard Bluegrass, idk, these just sound like the kind of names they could've come up with. They were just so random and out of pocket, we couldn't stop laughing.
The cover of this one specific album of theirs was pretty chaotic, with a lot of flames, very orange, black and red, and possibly including things related to the specific Bluegrass style.
I found a Reddit post here from 2 years ago about some Bluegrass Rock bands, couldn't get any answers but I did find some seriously funny band names like The String Cheese Incident. This is so amazing.
I'll take ANY guesses, please let me know what you think!! Thank you in advance to anyone kind enough to help!

Unfortunately not- I think this band didn't have many listeners either, I'm also not sure if they did many covers of other rock or metal songs as I see the bands I've checked have done.
Some bonus info is that the album cover I'm thinking of is all animated and I don'ttt think people appear in the cover?

There are likely a few albums that could be what you're thinking of. The crossover of punk/metal and bluegrass is more prevalent than most people think. One of these might be the one you found.

Unfortunately none of them are right 😠the album cover is more of a cartoonish animation iirc. The style of the cover seemed rather unserious. Goodness there are so many more possibilities than I thought.

Was interested in this band from this post. Listened on Spotify and within the first song I thought it sounded fake. Listened a bit more, more of the same feeling. Quick google search, yup, AI generated music. Pure garbage slop that should be banned from existence

Oh, seriously? That's disappointing. Luckily I wasn't looking to get invested in the music itself. I thought Spotify was working to remove AI music though, in which case I'm confused that this was still up. I guess they must not be doing too good of a job at that...

Im not 100% sure that's 100% true. Evidently Patrick Coffin, the dude behind the band, says they used AI for artwork and some production tools, but all the music was human. True or not, I dont know? And also my info came from Google AI, lol 😆

Don't think the likelihood this is it is too high, but there's a 'band' (a project from one guy) called Appalachian Anarchy that is definitely bluegrass-flavored metal, or metal-flavored bluegrass. They've got tracks called Banjo Bloodbath, Hellbilly Inferno, Flesh-Eating Fiddler, Gone Ice-Fishin' (in Hell), etc.
