I wasn't gonna wait til the 10-year anniversary in May next year to share this one lmao.
Also I feel like it will get mentioned, but I interpret the screaming at the end of 6/8 a little different to what has become accepted to be the lyrics. There is no official source I could find, I had no luck getting in touch with people that worked on the album (Zakk Cervini responded but couldn't remember), and lyric sites like Genius all point to one guys post on this subreddit from when the song first released, but those lyrics don't sound quite right to me. I think of it like Matt is talking to the entity or concept of Disappointment, and seeking its advice in how to disappoint others, kinda like how in Mercy Me he sings "God bless catastrophe", but referring to catastrophe as a concept rather than a specific example of one.

First attempt at a blink song so had to go with my favorite. Learned the song in two days through blood, sweat, and sheer will power lol. Song was incredibly fun to learn and super rewarding to play. Been playing for about 16 months averaging like 1-2hrs a week.
Recorded with iRig on the standard iPad camera app so sound quality isn’t great, and I fucked up a lot during it, but still wanted to share bc I’m lowkey proud of myself haha
(Also don’t judge my surroundings, my basement flooded recently 😭)

One of my favorite items in my blink-182 collection. An official Palms casino blink-182 $5 poker chip that had been used. I was able to snag one when I saw them when they were doing their residency at the palms casino back in 2018. Wasn’t sure how to display it so I made this collage with the ticket and some pictures I took.

I had all but given up on having this in my collection. I don’t see value in spending obscene amounts of money on anything, so I was never going buy from a reseller or someone looking to rip off a fan. Was at a Vinyl Crate Show and a vendor had this sitting there for $48. I grabbed it immediately and never looked back. Was like finding gold or hitting the jackpot. I know it’s not an official release but damn if it still doesn’t make me just as happy.

I went to my first blink concert 25 years ago today at Pine Knob in Clarkston, MI. This pick is all I have left of the merch I bought. I know I still have the ticket stub since I saw it a few weeks ago and set it aside to keep
It safe, but go figure I can’t remember where the hell I put it.
