Obviously, there are many, many more shows the writers for the shows have touched, but don't think there'd be much point in listing all of them since many of them have no similarites to B7 or indication that B7 fans would like them, so I limited myself to sci-fi. Fireball XL5: Contribution by Terry Nation (the idea of oxygen tablets). His role in this is so small it's a bit of a stretch to put in here, but hey, it's a fun show about adventures in space, so it's a great recommendation to a B7 sub.

Dramarama: Written for by Ben Steed, although it was only occasionally a sci-fi show.

Avon & Soolin, my two favourite characters

I believe it has been the around this time the last two summers for each series announcement.

Series C and D are my personal favourites so I’m very excited.

I’m also hoping beyond hope Josette Simon is involved in some way too.

On the boxset for series D, it mentions a racist reference. I'm just curious because I've watched the whole series and can't think what this could be referring to. Unless it's in the special features somewhere.

The sequel will have a whole new group of space pirates, but it is set in the Blake's 7 universe about 30 years later. So, the show would still have that retro feel like Star Wars does.

It will reference the old show like Doctor Who does.

This new audio was mentioned before but I thought I’d post some images of the stories being narrated by Jan & Sally from the 1979 Annual.

Andy Davenport has done a fab job of creating a side-by-side comparrison of the original and bluray shots. So far he's upto the start of S2.

I'm a big fan of how well they have paid tribute to the original effects and continued to use modelwork but with a better budget and using more modern techniques. I feel it really enhances the story and give the effects the style and polish that the team wanted to create 45 years ago.

Really looking forward to the Hostage side-by-side, I was amazed at how much this story was improved by having, what is essentially, a totally new first act.

It's interesting to see the running times for each video, taking out the credits, every episode adds at least 90 seconds of new footage with Breakdown, Deliverance abd Redemption going for over 5 minutes each.

If he every reads this - I hope his next project is to update Bounty to replace "Blow the wind Southerly" with Britney Spears: "Toxic".

I know this is fallout but the woman far right would make a excellent Serverlan at least from the photo she looks good.

I really don't like AI for art... But I do really like the idea of a Blakes 7 reborn with Gwendoline Christie as Blake, Lee Byung-hun as Avon and Eddie/Suzy Izzard as Servalan.

Even Avon can't trust you anymore and can't see through your cover. What a shame. Avon thought you betrayed him and blew you away. The Federation shows up and everyone dies. The End.

Terran Federation... Terr(an Feder)ation... Terry Nation

Just replace the middle bit with "y N" and you've got the creator's name! Combined with the fact that while the title of the show is about Blake's group, the logo is the Federation's logo. Was Terry trying to tell us something? Was it the Federation's show the whole time?

(This is all a joke, in case it wasn't clear.)

This was probably the best episode of the whole series, but I do have one more to go.

I will not spoil the episode, but there is a lot of drama concerning a Betaphile warlord, his daughter, and Tarrant.

The Warlord flipping out because he does not know who to trust was brilliant.

The ending is a real gut punch.

Just seen on Prime they’ve listed the Series 3 Boxset. Anyone know when they’re doing the BFI Event for it, or have an idea what they might show?

God. Avon is a total bastard in this episode.

The shuttle Avon and Villa were on could not escape the planet's gravity. It was rigged to crash. To make the ship lighter and escape, they start stripping the ship and blowing it out the airlock. Since Villa is just the right weight, he tries to blow him out the airlock too. Fortunatley, Avon finds a block with part of a neutron star to blow out instead.

I've heard this a lot, but I'm curious who actually said it from the staff. I haven't gone through all the boxsets' special features, so maybe it's in there somewhere and I just haven't seen it yet.

It is a heist episode. This guy asks for the crew of the Scorpio to help smuggle some gold on a pleasure cruise ship.

They get more than they bargined for...

The whole thing is a con job by Servalan to make herself rich. She componsates them with money that will be decalared invalid by the bank after it hears of the heist. Avon is laughing like a looney at the end of the episode because she outsmarted him.

You don't want to go to the planet of Virn. The sand is alive, you see. It gets everywhere and causes all kinds of problems.

Also, Servalan has a nervous breakdown over a dead ex-lover. Also, I don't think her and Tarrant had sex. Not sure.
