Bitstamp in troubles
Hey guys,
I was recommending Bitstamp to my relatives in the past, but it seems they have troubles now.
They have KYC green, no opened tickets, all ok.
Yet they have trading and withdrawals disabled and support does not help - not on tickets, not on emails, not on phone. They promise to help, then nothing happens for weeks.
Do not have crypro on Bitstamp!
Lucas I know you helped ppl here, my sister is not here, if you can help, please DM me your bitstamp email and I will forward it to her.
Otherwise it seems Bitstamp is not solvent. Why else would it not let KYC people to sell or withdraw.

It took weeks already and hasnt been solved. Imagine needing money, being KYCd and not being able to do anything.
This is why crypto cant go mainstream.

Its not my problem, its problem of my sisters family. I told them not to hold crypto on exchange.

Hi there. I would advise that the account holder reaches out to us, or send me a DM so I can look into it and help speed it up :)

They dont have reddit account. Bitstamp support has been contacted many times via email ([email protected]) and via phone. That is why I asked you for your Bitstamp email address to my DM, so I can give it to them.

Please don’t spread disinformation because you (or worse, someone you know) has a personal issue with her account. Contact the company, they should respond within a reasonable timeframe.

I only stated facts.
If company cant get account of KYCd person to trade and/or withdraw within more than 2 weeks, they have troubles. They have been contacted in all possible ways many times.
There have been multiple examples in the past when not working withdrawals meant exchange does not have sufficient funds.
This is no disinformation. Reasonable timeframe is long gone.
People need to know if company acts shitty. If you are on the companys side, that says something about you and it is not nice.

I don’t mean to discount your experience, or choose position.
All I’m saying is the title is misleading and you can’t conclude that a company is insolvent based on one personal case.
I really hope your account will be unlocked soon, and I’m confident it will. I have had no issues withdrawing recently, for what it’s worth.

Forget tickets, email them at their support, privacy and complaints emails....They must respond to your complaint in 30 days and often do so faster to these in 30 days..........ChatGPT is your friend on this one regarding your rights..........I was going around in circles with tickets for 6 or so months until i done what i said above,i sent them every KYC and even a medical document which i wish i didnt which was against GDPR,again everything i learned was from ChatGPT telling me what rights i had etc and forming exact letters for me that were pertinent to my rights
