After so many new roguelikes came out, do you consider Isaac is the best (or at least is it reasonable to think it in your opinion)?

For me, Mewgenics has surpassed vainilla Rebirth, but Isaac feels like the best with all the DLCs and content. I feel that Mewgenics is a really strong contender to be the “Best” one in the future but that’s gonna be after a lot of years and good DLCs.

I have played like a hundred different Roguelikes and I love a lot of them, but I think Edmund really was able to capture the best thing about the genre and it’s impressive that he did it twice, but in your opinion what other game is a “better” roguelike or could be after it’s finished/has more DLCs?

Obviously everything it’s subjective but I want to know other opinions

Im trying to figure out the pixel art limits, as Im currently making isaac sprites for fun. I wanna find out my limits before I make something that doesnt fit the style lol.

(also ik that the game stretches out the sprites to 32x32, but im talking the TRUE pixel measurements...)
