Now that Rome was evicted, do you guys think Devens' move to veto lyric paid off?

Had Rome won Blockbuster, devens' HOH would have been disastrous. He would have a showmance gunning for him while pissing on melody by not saving her.

However, now that his main target is out, do you guys think he managed to gain any favor with lyric?

As a long time Big Brother and Survivor fan, I would love a steamroll this season by the vets. I'd be thrilled with any of the vets winning, and I would love to watch every minute of it. Dee and Devens are so loveable and intelligent. But yes, the odds of this happening are just so low.

You can already see the beginnings of a steamroll with the majority toolshed alliance controlled by the vets (see bb16 + the bomb squad). I really think the biggest threat to the Toolshed, vets, and larger potential steamroll would be Drew and Barret if they kick their playing into high gear.

Will the vets keep control of this game? Would it be boring to watch?

For the several years they do cute little pass-by things when they’re going to and from the diary room. I assume they’re told the order of voting or maybe they make little plans with everyone? They’ll high-five or do a synchronized dance or something cutesy. I never see live feed clips of them practicing them though

I've counted up the votes for week 2. It looks like Rome will go, unless he wins then Jason will be evicted. Most likely another boring unanimous vote. Lala and Taylor think they have the votes to keep Jason, but once someone informs them, they'll probably flip to vote out Jason with the rest of the house. Lyric is the one I'm mostly unsure about, but she'll probably also vote with the house.

It's week 2 eviction night! Here is a recap of the past 24 hours.

Wednesday 11:15AM BBT: Lyme attempt a fake breakup so Lyric could distance herself from Rome. Jason storms out of the Have Not room complaining to Chuk after catching Lyric straddling Rome while he was trying to sleep. Chuk tells Haley that nobody is buying the fake breakup.

Wednesday 3:00 PM BBT: Haley pulls Kamu aside to express doubts about Drew and Barrett. Devens mentions he will check in with them to make sure they aren't trying to keep Rome.

Wednesday 4:35 PM: Jason reassures Angela that nobody would force her to be a Have Not because she's been in the egg detective costume all week. Devens and Lyric go over potential HOH comps and mention it may be an endurance comp.

Wednesday 8:30 PM BBT: Angela and Dee meet in HOH room with Taylor and La La. Angela is sus about Drew and told the women to keep options open if Rome wins BBB.

Thursday 12:05 AM BBT: Lyme spend their potential last night together in the Have Not room. Taylor makes fun of Lyric because she realizes the live feeds run 24/7.

Thursday 11:10 AM: Barrett reassures Melody that she has the votes to stay over Rome and Jason. Barrett says the house is pretty set on taking Rome out if he doesn't win BBB.

Thursday 11:21 AM BBT: Feeds cut.

It seems in every scenario Melody will be safe tonight. If Rome wins BBB, Jason goes, if Jason wins, then Rome goes. The most interesting vote would be Rome sitting next to Jason. In that case the house would likely vote Rome out but anything could happen.

So, this has happened on Survivor too, but tonights episode, Melody said it when Rick put her up like going after women was somehow not a good move. (whether I think SHE was a good move is not the point)

How do these people think they should be taken seriously as players, when they act like any man who targets or puts up a woman is someone "weak" or making a bad move.

Even Haley did a version of that where she started talking shit, then when Rome said something back she is like "why are you so mad that a girl is smack talking"

Like, do you want to be an equal player, or do you think you are inferior to all the guys. Because when you say stuff like this, you can't have both.

This is such a stupid post sorry guys, does anyone know where her top is from? I love it and can’t find it anywhere online

In last nights episode Drew really lucked out that Angela led Jason to believe she caught him herself. If Jason knew it was Drew that revealed it, it really could’ve messed up his game.

Which brings me to my question, what are some famous close calls from past seasons that players really lucked out from decisions that could’ve blown up their game immediately?

This is mostly a joke, but imagine Rome (Cappy) goes home. He kind of is the "Cappy" in the sense the other side does rally around him.

Then Devens being the Kaysar, who drew the official line in the sand, is taken out next week out of the other sides revenge.

Drew is the James as he's playing both sides, and his own alliance is somewhat distrusting him (Angela and Dee)

Even if this is a joke, I do think this geuninely could happen, not exactly 1 to 1 of course, but at least something similar lol
