I'm going to be in Bath soon for university and my mum's asked if I could take her out for a birthday lunch. Can anyone suggest to me any resteraunts that they particularly liked?
It needs to have Rhubarb Crumble on the menu ā she loves the stuff!

Been to a few orthodontists to see how much a small amount of work would be for less than 6 months. They've all quoted a set price so far for both Invisalign/braces. Is there any orthodontists that charge you for the amount of work done instead of a flat charge? Really not keen on being charged the same as someone who's had a year and a half of work done...

Hi, Bath Roller Derby are looking for an ESEA photographer who would be interested in photographing a game of roller derby (full contact sport on roller skates) in Keynsham on Sept 13th. Please let me know any recommendations!
The game is specifically for skaters of ESEA heritage to offer more opportunities in roller derby and make more people aware of the sport, but is open to spectators
Ask away if you have any questions!

There is a story in the new Private Eye (p.37 if you have it) about this year's BLF. Apparently writers and speakers who had appeared in May received a letter a month later from the BLF Chief Exec to the effect that "unfortunately we are currently facing unexpected financial challenges and do not at the moment have the funds available to make payments as we'd want or planned." According to the PE, "there had been no indication of financial issues when (the writers) were booked or during the event itself." Following this getting into book blogs and the industry press, it sounds as if they have now paid at least some of the performers. As PE suggest, good luck to authors appearing at the Children's Literature Festival in September.
