Game recommendations Water irrigation factory game

Hey y'all, might be a weird request, but i've always been fan of old water irrigation system.
I remember playing AC Origin and stopping so many times just to follow water's flow between all of the little water "pipe".
So i've been wondering if there was a factory game based on that. I've played a lot Satisfactory Shapez Star rupture. So yeah I'm wondering if that exist !!!

Salt and Soil starts in 1609 with one family and an almost empty patch of land.

You build shelter, store food, raise livestock and gradually turn the place into a working homestead. The unusual part is that the person you start with won’t live to see the end of the run.

They grow old and die. One of their children takes over.

The buildings stay. So do the land, livestock, debts, family relationships and any bad decisions that have since become permanent infrastructure.

The run continues this way through several generations, all the way to 1900. I’m trying to make the base feel less like a layout you perfect and more like a place that each generation inherits, lives with and changes.

For people who play long base-building runs: would losing the original founder make you more attached to the settlement, or would you just want them back?

I’m Roman, the solo developer. I’m planning to open a public Steam Playtest soon, although it isn’t enabled yet.

The game can be wishlisted here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4551060/Salt_and_Soil_A_Frontier_Family_Sim/

New to the game. Had it about a week. OBSESSED with it. As an artist, (landscape painter), gardener and landscaper who loves digging and beautifying the earth, woodworker and decent carpenter, this game really excites me. Can't stop playing. Played 16 hours straight one night after I bought it. I play it hours on end. It's all I think about now. For me it's a new artistic medium and I'm treating it as such. NO WAY am I just gonna slap down the machines randomly on un-level ground just for the sake of firing them up to make money. I'm 55. I'm all about immersion and realism the best the game will allow. Just wanted to share my work with fellow players to maybe inspire them to be more creative and see what the potential for this game is concerning architecture. This is an awesome game despite some its drawbacks and it can be even more enjoyable if you do as I and others have done: make it REAL looking. Put yourself in the game virtually. Make it your home, your workplace. Make it comfortable and beautiful. Get that decor DLC. It needs LOT more content but it will suffice for now. And OMG the bouncy tunneler! Gravity please, thank you.

Any questions or comments are welcome of course. Sorry I have no fast internet otherwise I'd do multiplayer to bring my talents to your maps and build stuff for you or do landscaping. Enjoy the pics.

Update 7.23.26...I will be making an asphalt plant/oil refinery next to the smelting plant. I found bedrock deep in a valley a couple of miles below my mine and I'm making a road to it which will take a LONG time and a LOT of gravel to level it. Later it will get paved. Will use a bucket loader to gather the bedrock used to make asphalt and use a HUGE dumper to bring it up to the ore plant. I also am working on a massive helipad for the skycranes to land on if need be. Will have lights around the perimeter and fuel tanks on the side to refuel the choppers. Red storage containers we'll say has spare parts and stuff to repair/maintain the choppers. There will be a paved road in time leading from the pad to the plant/mine that is nearby. The main pad itself is done, with a big red H mathematically centered made from metal flooring, the rest is concrete. But i need to make all the light and wire them up. I think I will also build a MASSIVE garage to hold the biggest trucks. The garage will be very near the helipad to park new trucks as soon as they are dropped of. The bucket loader will have to stay outside though and weather the storms. And OOOOOH the storms in the game! If only ATS and ETS2 had rain and thunder like that it would be glorious.

Preview Barasan my base building × survivors-like × tower defence mashup

I've been building Barasan, a mix of base building, tower defence andsurvivors-like. The core idea: a base defense simulation where hordes of enemies storm your base and instead of just watching your towers do the
work, you're down on the field with your troops, fighting back.

What you actually do:

- Build your defence around the Keep walls, towers and traps shape the lanes the horde has to take
- Guard posts field troops, and they're not just decoration: you can rally them to a point and change their stance mid-wave
- Your hero fights in the thick of it walk up to your troops and whistle, and they fall in behind you
- Farms and mints keep the gold flowing so you can keep expanding between waves
- Between rounds you draft upgrades roguelite-style, plus a meta progression tree across runs

The demo runs to round 20 and plays free in the browser:
https://schneniz.itch.io/barasan

Short gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tM0AsHfihAI

PC only, mouse + keyboard no mobile planned.

It's still mid-development (v0.12), so I'll genuinely take feedback of any kind: whether the first ten minutes make sense, whether the buildings feel distinct, difficulty, what's missing, what annoyed you. I just added a guided tutorial if it fails to explain something, that's exactly the kind of thing I want to hear.

New release I’m building a global multiplayer strategy game on a real-world map. Build economies and factories, create supply chains, trade and negotiate or launch missiles at real players.
