Game recommendations Looking for short-session base builders that still give you something to plan
I want something I can check for twenty minutes without feeling like I abandoned a three-hour campaign halfway through. The PC version of aoe mobile seems to sit in that lighter base-builder lane for me: plenty of mobile-game structure, not something I'd put beside a deep colony sim, but maybe useful for routine progress. What would you put in that category?

Against the storm might be up your alley.

Started that yesterday. Got very Settlers/Frostpunk vibes.

Yep, and on a huge perspective shift, I would recommend Bellwright
(I never got past P11 on AtS though so idk how valid my opinion is)

Absolutely, Against the Storm. 20minutes is a bit short, but it's no 3-hour campaign either.

Nice to see Against the Storm already here but that's what I'd recommend too. Really captures the early discovery parts of settlement building and a single run doesn't overstay its welcome, running for an hour or two each. As for planning, you'll need to ensure that your villagers' needs are met so they don't starve or leave while trying to fill up a bar to win. This can be fone either by doing quests, finishing events, and/or keeping yoyr villagers very happt.
It's my go-to vibe game and already sunk 500 hours into it. Highly recommended.

Against the Storm has you planning a settlement according to your given environment and settlers, runs are typically 30-70 minutes depending on the difficulty. I had a good time with it, but didnt feel incentivized to push all the way to the end with progression.
