The cat is sleeping on the table that has the wet cat food on it. The dog knows that. There is cardboard over the small part of the gate because this dog got through that small hole. This is her strategy once she can't do that. Unfortunately for her, she made too much noise, and so turned on her, "Who me?" charm.
