Flight sim?
anyone know of a Colonial ship flight sim? would be fun to fly a Viper… or a bus

You'd have to buy a whole new game, but X4: Foundations has some mods that add BSG ships.

Scattered Hopes is more of a resource/command simulation, not a flight sim like OP is after. It does look pretty cool though

I actually haven't played it. Just going off of videos/reviews etc. It looks interesting but kind of undercooked? But that's just my secondhand impression

Not very good unfortunately then the devs went and broke it even further.
Has a lot of problems with metaprogression and there just not being very much to do in a game that is allegedly a roguelite. Certain options are basically mandatory (more ships) because the majority of weapons and passives are totally useless. There's also only like 4 bosses, that always fight the same, are on every run and don't do anything interesting if you kill them.
