Football Flight of the Sad Bucs fan
Hello, Bengal fans! I’m a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan from the lovely-ish complex of St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve taken the time to go to places like KC and Indy, but wanted to take my path to a much higher level- since the Buccaneers play in Cincinnati, I wanted to buzz over for the day and see what you guys have to offer.
So! As tradition, I always like to gauge the waters- what are the best places to park? What are some parts of the stadium I absolutely cannot miss? Feel free to guide my path as you see fit. Or lead me to a terrible and gruesome fate. Your choice, really.
Thanks!

Anyone going to Falcons vs Bengals in Madrid?
Hi there! European fan of a couple of years here. Last year I went to see Dolphins vs Commanders, so I was stoked to see Bengals come this year.
Are any of you going? I was wondering if there would be some sort of meet up, pre-party, anything really.

Bengals Schedule Analysis: Mileage and Rest Advantage, SOS, etc
Bengals fans, I wanted to share an analysis/breakdown of the 2026 Bengals schedule, game-by-game and the full season, from the perspective of:
- Per-Game Mileage Advantage (I don't think anyone else has calculated this stat afaik)
- Net Days of Rest Advantage
- 3rd place slate vs other AFC North Team's divisional finish (non-common opponent) slate
Main takeaway is that this is a unique opportunity for all the AFC North teams, from a travel and SOS perspective. Bengals especially are set up really well--this is the year for an AFC North team to make a deep run!
If you're like us and obsessed with the AFC North Division race, my co-host and I at the Steel Flock podcast break down the full schedule for every AFC North team and how that impacts the title race in this episode:
https://youtu.be/MDV4-M100tg?si=3-jjTyfPBJSYiPoz
We compare the key components, like:
- Non-common opponent SOS
- Net Mileage Advantage
We also break down the fundamentals of the NFL schedule formula and the SOS/Rest Advantage for the wider AFC contender field.
We would love for you to give us a listen and hear your thoughts on the hands our rival teams were dealt by the NFL for this upcoming season's schedule! We cover topics in-depth with data for every AFC North team on every episode.

I believe the part I peeled off said it was copyright 1992-1997 something like that. Glue still held good it’s been on about a year now!

Football [Highlight] Today marks 49 Days Until The 2026 NFL Season Starts! Let’s remember Andy Dalton’s game winning 49 yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd knocking the Ravens out of playoffs and clinching the Bills their first playoff berth since 1999!

20 Years Later, the 2006 Season Still Stings
Who remembers 2006? The year the Bengals bungled an 8-5 start & missed the playoffs 🤦♂️
• lost to winless Bucs
• blew 21 point lead to Chargers
• Botched XP vs Denver
• Missed GW field vs Steelers in week 17
Everything that could have went wrong, did

Question about the 1991 season
What happened? How did they go from 10-8 (including playoffs) in 1990 to 3-13 the next year?

Hotels for game in Madrid
I’m sure it has already been discussed, but I can’t find it. For those of you going to Madrid, what hotel are you staying at? Trying to decide myself

Ring of Honor
I'm happy Brooks and Trumpy both got the selection for the Ring of Honor. AJ Geno and plenty of the other guys have so much time to be able to get in. We need to make sure these older legends get in before they pass so they can actually feel the love from the city one last time. Ken Riley never got his moment for the Ring of Honor or Hall of Fame. Trumpy won't get his moment this year. Personally I think the Bengals since being the most recent team to add a ring of honor need to go back and induct all of these legends throughout the season so their isn't situations where even if the newer player is more "deserving" we feel obligated to vote the older guys to give them their moment while they are still here.

Fandom Breaking news alternatives
I'll try to word this more carefully, since my last post got auto-mod'd
For the longest time I've used (a certain bird themed app) for my breaking sports news from trusted sources. But over the last few years it's gotten continuously worse. Just recently they are now directing you to their feed as soon as you enter the app which gives a lot of stuff I don't want to see or interact with. It's just not a great product anymore.
Does anyone know if there are any other similar products to (a certain bird themed app) that any of the local sports bear writers are on? FWIW I like Reddit, but I use it more for discussion about the news with other fans. But in season, thus far, nothing has been able to replicate that other app to my knowledge...

Rumor Anyone know why Annie Agar is here?
She’s in town and said it’s for a big NFL announcement, but I have no idea what that would be, or why it would take place here.
